This isn't true. I've been banned plenty of times and never had that problem. I was able to PM until I'd sent messages to mod & admin asking for reasoning behind my ban.

It depends on the type of ban wether you lose PM function.

I'm not saying no more questions why do you jump to conclusions so much? I'm saying weve spent plenty time answering queries in here yet some come straight in and say they dont get replies, they get ignored etc and also for me personally ive spent enough of my time tonight answering them.

I dont mind answering and replying to queries when they are put across respectively but I wont waste my time answering posts that are straight out abuse towards us or unfounded accusations.

I’m unaware what happened in the end, but I think 14 threads on individual cases of police brutality (which is probably the biggest non corona issue the world is facing right now, a life changing event) is more productive than Kate opening up 20 threads to try and fill the sidebar or Michael posting all the letters of the alphabet as different letters, but again I’m not sure if them threads were all deleted

Not been keeping up with the threads too much, been super busy - but it would be horrendous if some of those bans/infractions were related to showing support for BLM when there’s a specific member out the continuously baiting the forum and fighting anything and anyone for the sake of it.

There has been a lot of tension on here and deservedly so. 2020 has been one hell of a bad year. The videos we have had to witness have been the last straw and we cant help but feel angry

It just doesnt help when there are members here puropsely trying to wind up the situation, none of he situation is right, it is hideous, its not funny and its not big or clever

I think the main tension is caused by how often these members are allowed to wind people up and when it is questioned or people passionately give their views its hard to get our point across without getting angry

I used to enjoy this forum but at the moment it feels like a battle ground

I agree with this. I rarely post in SD much although I do read through the threads as some do make interesting points/ discussion but I do find that there are some members being a bit snide and trying to get a reaction out of people and that is something that needs to be addressed in my opinion. That’s something that will always put people off posting in there or why some have given up with it entirely.

Josy has stated she finds typing differently much worse than a plethora of racist posts in a BLM thread, so I don't think you're going to get anywhere with this one unfortunately.

I do hope theres plenty of members viewing this thread so that if it ends up being closed they will know the true reasons why.

I've answered all queries truthfully, respectively and went into detail to explain as much as possible all night.

One person in this thread complaining about mods not doing there jobs had the nerve to constantly attack me and call me obsessive over my beliefs in BLM

I think what needs to be done about the bans is to unban Qua, 3 weeks ban for talking about BLM is really disgusting. All you keep saying is ‘oh he spammed’ ‘oh he did this, he did that’ but all he did was talk about something important

No, we need posts to be reported we cant possibly see every single post.

I looked earlier as one member keeps bringing up baiting yet there is not one report from them about it in the past few days
