Blue lives are not a thing.

Policing is a job, it's a choice and it's a choice that many people in the US who are inherently not suited for the job choose to make. You can finish your work, go home and that's that, a black person doesn't have that same freedom.

The phrase 'Blue lives' is nothing more than a racist response to people outraged by Black Lives Matter.

Actually, it isn't. There's a whole thing about the KKK and other white nationalist and supremacist groups infiltrating the police and in the south, the origins of the police were literally rooted in preserving the slavery system.
