Shirley Ballas has issued a warning to Strictly Come Dancing favourite Maisie Williams.

EastEnders actress Maisie is already being tipped to win this year's series.

Maisie, partnered with professional Gorka Marquez, previously won the show's Children In Need special in 2019.

However Strictly's head judge Shirley has issued Maisie a warning ahead of the first live show.

She said in an interview with The Sun newspaper: “I know she won the special but if I was Maisie I wouldn’t take anything for granted because doing one dance is not like doing ten weeks.

"You’ve got to be there and you’ve got to be full on and you’ve got to go the whole nine yards."

Shirley added of the celebs' first dance in Saturday's launch show: “You could see the competitive spirit, you could feel it. These people all look like they were at the starting block, ready to move forward.”

since we got Bruno at results show via Zoom

i thought maybe it would be fun for ITT to have Derek Hough with a interview via Zoom, show him some of this years class (i mean after few weeks in ofc)

i mean it is fun possibly to have a 6 time dwts champion also saying few words on who does well, who have promise at becoming dancers etc

i have a feeling that Bill, Caroline will outscore the likes of a Maisie, HRVY with more public votes than them

i mean likebility factor is also a thing with GBP

i already am reading some nickname they have for HRVY ''no vowels kid''

also some are not liking Maisie her personality that much, so they might have dance skills but also hope they work on their personalities a bit, via ITT which might help a person too

Zoe & Ian won't be able to dance together

so no demo time at waite's warm up

also some info on guests (some will be in studio, some via video link) and they are still thinking on friday panels, maybe a combination of both (few in studio, few via video link/facetime)
