...when people cant afford to support charities on their lower wage or lost incomes then there will be nothing soon enough, Arista...and the reason for that lays in one place only...the government who voted for that nothing...you think that’s okay and fine because somehow they’ll get by on nothing...?...someone who has nothing themselves will come along and feed them...?...school staff out of their own purses and own funding have given breakfast to some of their children for many, many years...and rather than address that and right it...?...the government have voted no to lunch as well...‘Better than nothing and hoping for others to step in, in any small capacity’...is not how a country is run or can thrive and you absolutely know that, sir...

...‘let’s make Britain great again..’...let’s hand it over to the charities and hope they can help...that was it, was it....apparently it was...

For a bit of balance for bots

This is a decent Tory, still a Tory, but not as bad as the other Tories.

Good on her, at least one of them has a conscience.

I just don't see how anyone could defend this, well actually I can, blind defense of their 'side' is common for people that can't see the forest for the trees. It's just another example of people treating politcs like sport and supporting their 'team' no matter what.

If labour had done this, the same people who are defending this would likely go mental but the difference would be that everyone else who is outraged will still be outraged. I wish people could see beyond their tory tinted glasses.

So what’s the full story guys? How is any other party also at fault for this decision?

I criticise politicians from all political parties when they do something wrong or I disagree with them, even the party I vote for, you should try it sometimes, it’s liberating I promise

If no one is willing to present this other side then it probably doesn't exist. If it does, share it with the class.

Oh please, it's not a tax problem. That's an excuse and nothing more and one that wouldn't work had this been a labour government that ruled against this. The tories will give away millions in government contracts to tory backers but spending what would be a trifling amount in comparison to feed children is too much?

Bull****.

A childish response, if you disagree with what I'm saying then use your brain and come up with reasons why, like what I did with the tax argument.

Stop throwing your toys out of the pram, this is a discussion.

I don't think kids are starving because their parents are too busy buying ipads, Kazanne... I love how economic woes are blamed on the most vulnerable and not the tories in charge, makes so much sense.
