also youtube app on my smart tv works fine, but what is bothering me is just simple to fix, stop asking me with that log in message, i'm happy to watch videos on there with adverts too

Arista is right Nicky. Set up a new account through a different browser, or set up a new user in google. It's a really easy workaround. i can help you set it up if you want? We'll have you back on YT before you know it.


Get an adblocker and stop those adverts in their tracks.

You set up a new user on google, and log in through that, or download a different browser and set up a user. You'll have a new email address and then you can set up a new account on YT with that one.

Go to Google account and create a new one and use that.

I also have multiple accounts on Google, it is not forbidden.

haven't got one but more because the lesser of those apps on this new Edge browser, the better and you need adverts tbh

Log out of the old account and then log in with the new.

Before you do that, delete your history, cookies and cache (you sometimes have to do that, log in does not work).

And then log in with the new account.
