I don’t completely understand all this as I’ve not been following this matter too closely BUT it holds 500 people … when there are about 450 coming over every DAY !?!?

I haven't an answer to this other than processing all claims much more rapidly.
I don't think this government's rhetoric helps, however I also don't envy this or any other government's task in dealing with and solving this problem.

As to these barges, this one looks an ugly monstrous thing to me.
I'm not surprised there's fury at them being planned to be put where they are.
