Those rules on unemployed benefit claimants are already in place.
The sanctions procedure is there to use if anyone doesn't comply to looking for work, and showing they are doing and have done so.

So what's new about this from Sunak and his band of deceivers.

Plus it's the low pay commission who has stated the minimum wage should be up to Ł11, not the government.
I doubt even this atrocious government would want to go into an election year likely, going against any LOW PAY commission proposal.

It seems more like some just setting out stalls for a leadership contest if they lose the next election.

Badenoch, the awful Patel, surely Truss isn't thinking it possible to return but she can certainly help create problems for Sunak.

I wouldn't trust Hunt too if I was Sunak either.

What's with this being the friend of the motorists and ending the war on the motorists.
Whose main legislation among others admittedly, over the last 13 years has caused problems and costs for the motorists.

It can in the main only be the Cons.
They've been in main power for OVER 13 years under 5 different leaders/Prime Ministers continuously

Surely people realise that by now.

BBC News Text:
[The Times also goes big on the second day of the
Tory conference, telling its readers that
Mr Sunak has brought an
"axe down on HS2 in the north".
An unnamed source, who the paper describes
as being "familiar with the prime minister's
thinking", says the project was
"based on old assumptions"
and that the Covid pandemic
"has changed the nature of travel".
There is also a large image of
Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch,
who used her own speech to tell delegates
that the UK is the
"best country in which to be black".]

BBC News Text:
[A photo of former prime minister Liz truss laughing
sits at the centre of Tuesday's Daily Telegraph.
She gave a speech at the Conservative conference
on Monday, in which she called for the government
to "cut taxes and build new homes".
Cartoonist Matt Pritchett's
take on Ms Truss' "hot ticket" appearance is a
drawing of someone - outside a water company - asking
when the party will "stop all these outpourings
from Liz Truss".
The paper's lead story is about
government plans - supposedly going to be
announced by Health Secretary Steve Barclay
later today - to ban transgender women
from female hospital wards.]

Live 1 on 1

Sunak Vs her

GMBHD itv

Unlike the sad bbc
Susanna Reid put her glasses on,
is right next to Sunak

She gave a example
of Bill in Scotland
who lives in a caravan
but his dog insurance has doubled?

Sunak keeps correcting her

ITV got 14mins

I've no time for Susanna but he came across arrogant and cold.
Would NOT stick to the real content of the points raised.

He is terrible.

Everytime I type his name the text suggests Fishy not Rishi.
So I leave it at that because it is a perfect description of him.
He just will not answer.

Funny how all these popular policies suddenly pop up months before an election.
