Maybe it wasn’t a good comparison .. if was the first thing that came to mind .

I wasn’t really sure why me watching Love Island was relevant in the first place if we’re going down the path of logic

…it was actually a natural continuation of you saying that Love Island was ‘nothing to be proud of…’, with it being something that you follow and are a fan of, is all…it did actually follow in and felt relevant because your statement and mindset did genuinely surprise me, and that’s why I commented…but the cage fighting comment/post, I can’t see is going to explain…but rather, take it all off topic, as it were …so I won’t continue….

…just as a by the by, I was a Love Island gal/fan myself…and although my assessments and mindset and thoughts don’t match yours as it being nothing to be proud of…there are things about it that don’t gel with me and that I don’t feel comfortable with, so I don’t see any value in watching it anymore, for myself, which I don’t …but I’m not sure that any reality TV as being anything other than equal to any other…
