the night she had the argument with Carole, they wre arguin. Obviously she shouldnt have called her what seh did, and it was nasty, but Gerry did it for the sake of it. Its not as if Nicky ever goes up to someone and says something ansty for the sake of it

It was Nicky sly comment that started the argument between the two. Yes, your right, Nicky very rarely goes up to someone and says something nasty for the sake of it - Nicky says it behind their backs instead.
