How can anyone say Charley didnt start that?!! Aaaargh! Its gettin too much now, not even kiddin, it was bad to watch.
She clearly started it, she brought a controversial issue up about racist Emily which was to deliberately cause a reaction. She knew that subject wouldnt be taken lightly. If you watch it back all Brian did was say he wouldnt want to live with Emily after her saying that word, and rightly so! Obviously he's not going to give someone the benefit of the doubt when she has said a very offensive word. He didnt raise his voice at first, he kept it calm and tried to ask Charley why exactly she was kickin off (who wouldnt). She then stood behind him, talkin down to him in the most condesending, patronising tone. He then reacted (like anyone would) and she got exactly what she wanted. She knew she was raising a sensitive issue about Emily and obviously Brian could take the comment offensively. She totally knew this. So it worked, she caused an argument in which she would be the centre of the drama. By not raising her voice but sayin vindictive things in a patronising tone she attempted to manipulate it into makin Brian look the bad one. But thankfully everyone knew all to well what she did. I am really struggling to see how anyone can possibly see her behaviour as acceptable and even begin to blame Brian. He did nothing wrong and I'm very shocked that anyone could criticize him for having his opinion about racist Emily. Shocking. Absolutely shocking. |

No Im sorry Im completely fair with the arguments and have even stuck up for Charley (as much as I hate her) about being a bully. Brian was not in the wrong at all. you need to put yourself in his place and think about it. He expressed his opinion very calmly by saying he wouldnt want to be with Emily. Obviously he will think that as he was just told of the offensive term she used, which he more than has a right to be offended by. Of course he is gonna comment on it. Hello?! She provoked it and then carried it on by being so patronising. He wasnt even shouting at her at first. Charley is nasty, vindictive and manipulative through and through and she was in the wrong. Go Brian |
