If you feel Charley is needed cos shes a big character why did you campaign to get people like Nikki and Grace out in BB7?

I agree there will be a time when she should go but for me right now isn't that time. We don't have enough big characters in the house to keep things interesting to watch and bringing in new housemates isn't always for the best. For a few days they might bring things back but then they end up letting things slip like who is fave to win and other things they know from the outside. When you have people with hardly any personalities that capture people you have a dull house. The rest of the show will be pretty predictable....Carole and Tracey are "the outcasts/oldies", Ziggy and Chanelle are the couple and the final 4 will be the "nice" people Liam, Sam, Brian and Amanda. Really the only thing which would be worth watching would be who would clinch 5th place and what order they would come in.

We already know one of the nice people will win the show. That is how it always works except for BB5 when Nadia won the show.

But there is only so much the viewing public can stand of people like Charley and I think the producers are right to try and shut her up. She is becoming boring with the constant fights.

We do need more characters in the show so why don't they just inject some new ones to stir things up.

Mainly because there was other characters there that were big...Glyn (as much as I disliked him), Richard, Lea, Pete...that had so many big characters that when they left the show wasn't boring. You can name plenty of "stories" from that year and comparing it to this year you simply don't get many except what I have already said.

Fair enough but you also campaigned to get Lea out
I have a good memory, and I swear you had a 'dont let Pete win' banner but that one Im not sure on.

Thats because she was up against Richard who I liked better. During the end I wanted Ash to win on the grounds she had done more than Pete but that doesn't take away the fact he is one of the people who will be remembered from that year. Charley is the one people will remember this year and it is rather sad that there isn't many stories that don't contain her, so when you take her out of the picture we are not left with that much to watch. I don't like Charley at all but I think she makes the show interesting and the mix of housemates without her wouldn't be as good to watch. There only hope is bringing in new people once she has gone because we don't have any big characters left to keep the show watchable.

It's the same every year, I don't particulary like Charley but can see a mile off that she's pretty much made the series so far, we know how it works now though so the 'bigger' characters going first is NOT a shock.

I don't think it helps that the show in general seems more antiseptic. Like all the life has been taken out of it and it's been cleaned up for general viewing. Other than the swearing there is no reason the show couldn't be shown most nights at 8pm rather than 9pm. There is nothing in there that is really of an adult nature compared to what we have seen in the past.

In someways all we have is the arguments to watch it that what gives Charley her power in the show.

I believe they all will be alot more vocal just because there is a huge hole and I think Chanelles ego will be huge as she will be on a high and be "queen bee" but I don't like Chanelle anyway so seeing even more of her will only annoy me further personally. The other housemates I cannot see making any dramatic changes at all. We are bound to see more of people because they will have alot of time to fill and I am just worried about how they can fill that hole and exactly what we shall end up watching. Chanelle acts as if she is scared of her but she can handle her own when she choses she just prefers to get a tagteam together first and let them do her battles.

They would get more air time that is for sure. I think we would see new groups forming and petty arguments occurring more in the house between the groups. At the moment it is everyone in one group and Charley is in the other.

The idea of seeing more Chanelle isn't too appealing to be honest. She reminds me to much of Nikki from last year in the diary room. Can you imagine what house would be like if she behaved the same way in the main house?

The Twins don't like the arguments at all. You can see it on there faces every time Charley goes off on one.

Charley has no other role in the house but to argue. She knows it gets her noticed. It was the reason she was crying on last nights highlights show when Big Brother told her to cool it. Big Brother had taken her here game plan away from her. So it came as no surprise she didn't pay any attention to what was said to her. Her whole character is based about fighting like a cornered tramp allay cat.

Charley seems to be only known for her arguements but even without them she can be a fun entertaining character in there and her personality is big enough to lift the mood and for me she is an energetic housemate who people can bounce off..okay so not always for the right reasons but she does have that vibe. Her arguements are what capture headlines and the romances are what make people stand out from the rest but there is more to Charley than her arguements.

I don't think new groups will form unless they bring in new people. The groups are basically formed already...the couple & Gerry , carole who tries with everyone yet still isn't a key member to any group, tracey the outcast and the 4 playfull pool people. Once Charley has gone no doubt Gerry and Tracey will go head to head, then whoever is left against carole. Then the battle for 5th place between carole/zig/chan. People have said how it is good this year isn't predictable and doesn't have a predictable winner but if Charley goes I think it will become very predictable and therefore boring and unentertaining.

If Charley goes which is very liekly when she is up then I would like to see some decent personalities like a clown of the house but I wonder if these are the best they found to start with what do they have left.

I think they will have to bring in new people at some point now. The show needs a new injection of life even if Charley was to stay. It is becoming dull and repetitive.

Your intitled to your opinion but what stories have we had that don't include Charley this year? Sadly she has been a big character because the other housemates don't really amount to much entertainment wise. Okay Brian and a few others are the few exceptions but it doesn't make it as entertaining.

I see your a Chanelle fan, how do you think she will react once Charley has gone? Chanelle can be quite full of herself just like Charley in my opinion very self obsessed. It shall be interesting to see how she acts once Charley has left...will she continue to talk about Charley or finally let things go.

I think if they do introduce new people they need to pick carefully....the rumours of 5 new housemates seems a little overloaded to me. Plus I don't like the rumours that the HM get to pick 2 to enter the main house. That would only cause friction IF Charley was there because most of the other HM are pretty agreeable. Plus having them pick won't really mean they will be any good. I think a new injection of live could be easily done with doing some kind of house divide that would force certain groups to cope alone...split of twins, split of couple etc. We still haven't really seen either of them four alone and that would be good to see before they get evicted/the show ends.

I agree that letting the housemate pick who goes into the house is a bad idea. You are so right in saying they will pick the people that fit into the house as it is. What is needed is people that will stir the house up and dramatically change the dynamics.

I like the idea of splitting up the groups in a task, maybe involving the house next door in some way, that would be interesting to watch.

Default Charley v Chanelle

Yes, Just looking from that snippet of tonights highlights show, I think Chanelle may actually win this argument. Go Channelle!

Nonetheless, I am so glad someone told Charley what most people think of her. I now support Chanelle to win!
