I don't know if it has anything to do with him being a Pagan, though I doubt it, I don't believe everyone who worships the devil has a nasty side.

Thats why he has been asking other elder witches about spells to empower people and has been told by many witches to go away as his attitude is terrible. I do not tar everyone with the same brush with regards to the devil worship but i dont think he does to be honest he is just trying to be different, however if he is into devil worship i hope he knows what he is getting involved in i think he is intimidating and certainly wont get my vote,
