If you want hilarious people, watch BB5 and not BB7 because with all the mentals (Lea, Shabbaz, Pete, Dawn and Nikki) I wasn't really entertained.

When you look back at Nasty Nick, he is really nowhere near as bad or evil as our more recent housemates, and there have been far more serious rule-breaks than Nick's and far more people get away with rule-breaks on the show these days without any punishment at all.

if you want hilarious people, than I suggest, watch brian Dowling, Richard newman, Nikky grahame, they were the real comedy genius, well nikki was genius with impression, expression and one liners.

BB5 might of had more entertaining characters, but they were one of the best, not best, the only good point it had variety than some in other series.

I agree completely.

Big Brother 1 was ground breaking television. Yes it didn't have the same sort of pace as the a later series but we wouldn't have had the later series without it. There would have been no BB2, 3 , 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 if it hadn't have been a success. At the time it was great viewing.

Big Brother 4 was the only one never to win any kind of award.

But for entertainment value, BB1 is nothing, yes it was the first series, but we should go and vote on entertainment value, not originality.

If a poll was created on which is the most original series, than BB1, BB2 or BB3 would suit that category, but for entertainment value, it doesn't beat BB7, BB6 or BB5.

BB5 was the best, with BB7 near , but that is for entertainment - but i still wouldnt say BB1 was "boring" like the thread title - i would have to say BB4 was the most boring series - but thats becuase everyone "diss'" it anyway.

BB4 is the worst, BB1 is also not highly that entertaining, i.e., if you watch BB7, or BB5 it still is very entertaining to watch, but if you watch BB1, its like your starting to doze.
