I still don't get the inference.
Its not the spelling that matters , its the content of the post and the heart of the poster , you overblown , pretentious twat.

I pick on peoples' spelling, even when I DO have something useful to add, as I think spelling is fundamental.
Grammar error. The apostrophe comes before the 's', not after. Fail.
Actually, that is incorrect. If 'peoples' refers to the plural, the apostrophe can come after the 's', this is still grammatically correct.

I am many things, but I am hardly pretentious. 'Overblown'? To what does that refer?

Kindly stop your threatening behaviour.
And your attitude is that of a cyber-bully that finds the need to draw wildly negative inferences of a forum members' personalities because of their support of a reality TV contestant and uses verbal insults to put down people that dare to hold an opinion that differs from your own.

Write this out 100 times...

And your attitude is STILL that of a pathetic school teacher who has to get involved when there is a harmless argument going on.

Article 10 of the HRA (1998) Freedom of Speech

Read it and re-write it 1,000 times.
Oh dear the 'I don't need rules, I can do what I want, I have freedom of speech' argument.

It's a bit like saying 'I don't need rules, I should be allowed to drive on the wrong side of the road if I want. I can do what I want.'

Anyway back on topic. The twins' Christmas single...

Actually, it is correct. "People" is plural, and it is a plural that does not end with "s". In the case of a plural that does not end in "s", then you add an apostrophe, followed by the "s". It's basic grammar that a teacher like yourself should know by now.

Not sure if it would be a winner a single by the twins? However, there are going to be loads of offers with things that they will do well at i'm sure. Perhaps promoting pink things

I watched a clip from TOTP2 last night, and saw this incredibly talented performance of a song by John Miles called 'Music'. That was talent. He was an average looking guy, but he played piano, electric guitar and sung amazingly, and wrote the song. It is a cross between classical, a nice piano ballad and rock. THIS is talent.

Even if people like the twins, (I DESPISE them), this does not mean they should flood the market with their talentless voices.

Anyone who thinks they can sing in key when listening to 'A Whole new World', is quite simply, wrong. If I put them through an auto tuner, they still would sound wrong, as they aren't even a semi-tone out.

The music business is a pile of poo.
"the the"? Another error. Take a look through your own posts before picking on the mistakes of other posts.

It is indeed dificult I have got into scrapes myself in the past and no doubt will in the future. Very hard to ignore a post that has insulted you. If you can then you are a bigger person.

Your right back on topic. If the twins have a single then good luck to them but I still think a single would have to escape rather than be released..........

I agree with you on that. I wonder if they would even consider doing a single?

Aslo does the charley song perhaps come with ear plugs?

Well, this topic was a very interesting read - starts with a xmas single by the lovely Twinnies and proceeds to a lovely argument over spelling and authority and rights. Anyway - I would love for the Twins to win and I hope they do most strongly. I would love also for both to release a xmas single - which could only go crazy at xmas time. Naturally, the No.1 slot will go to the X-Factor finalist. But a No.2 would be good - unless the Twinnies release it earlier, perhaps a week or two at the most. I'll buy it!
