Some people have online persona's and deliberately try to wind people up...
Some people are just spoilt girls with an immature attitude.

Also, if it is a wind up, completely destroying their wind up attempt and making them look bad would just ruin their fun and irritate them due to you being better at causing a little drama. And whenever they make a comeback and you knock them straight back down, they soon learn how pathetic they are.

So either way it's win win, as long as you do things correctly.

The thing is, without the attention you give to the people who do this, they have nothing. They are only feeding off the negative attention.

So, therefore you don't give them any attention, they move on to another forum.

It's classic forumicus trollus. Believe me, I'm well-versed in this area.
