Is there a rule that adverts must start so many weeks before the series starts, NO

C4 decides on how much and how long to advertise Big Brother like any other show depending on how much advertising C4 feels that programme needs. Obviously because of BB8 and poor ratings C4 have done the sensible thing and advertised for longer this year to win back the viewers.

Sorry , but your not a mod. Its not for you to tell somebody if they can or can not swear.

And for the record , swearing is not directly mentioned in the rulebook. Plus swear words are censored anyway. So yeah. Its not a rule , depending on how it is directed.

And I see what your saying , but personaly , I dont think we should be taking it so strange just because they decided to start the advertising earlier this year.

Yes it is a rule becuase when i swore i while back, the whole forum was saying dont swear its a rule break

You probably swore towards somebody. Or in an offensive manner. Swearing on its own , however , is not a rule , despite what people think.

They would rather you did not swear , but I say **** that.

And even if it was a rule , your still not a mod. You dont enforce the rules.

Grow up Chrissy. You'd be hard pushed to find one member on this forum who hasn't swore here before.

No its not , because like I have pointed out twice , swearing is not mentioned in the rules. Profanity to other members is. And I was not swearing directly at you.

In fact , you just insulted me by saying I was up myself. So , if your keeping the score , your the one thats actualy breaking the rules.

chrissy i see your point about the 30th of may but there has been no countdown adverts today, hense its not lauching then. Also the press pack revealing the start date has not been released as yet, Monday we will see the 10day ads. We may see a 15 day ad on Wednesday but thats the earliest

Eye flashes are supposed to be quick. thats why they're called "flashes". Longer adverts come later.

Thats what I've realised lately. Everyone agrees with everything. I try to give an honest opinion across and suddenly I'm a pesimest or a depressant

Because when people base their opinions on facts that are not there, they can no longer hold a debate, hence flying into other aspects of the forum trying to cause trouble to direct away from the original meaning of the argument.

This IS a pointless thread. I cannot stress how pointless it is. Applause Store, VoG, Heat Magazine & Star Magazine have all said June 5th. Schedules for May 30th have been posted in the first two pages of the thread.

Stu, Conor & everyone else have the right to back up our opinions, because they are based on facts, not a random thrity second idea what popped into your head.

chrissy you want it to be 30th may launch - but it won't be - sooner the better in my opinion - but face it coz itss going to be 5th june ok - also don't annoy other people about swearing and that when your insulting other people like stu - your wrong about the launch end of story

I know, but the main point I was trying to bring across is that unfortunately alot of members don't respect your opinion if it's not the same as everyone else's.
