I'm not lying when I say this, but before I saw tonights show (when I read about this story here) - I said "if I guy with 20/20 vision did the same thing - he'd be given so much more flack" and I agree still.

You just did.
As a nod to others bringing it up. You know that.

And I cant HONESTLY BELIEVE that people are taking it so seriously that he got p****d and expected the girls to dress up as bunnys! IT WAS A JOKE!

The man is a bit weird , in fairness , but christ , people need to lighten up! He likes a good time!
it didn't sound like a joke to me
and why was he that bothered anyway, it isn't like he could of seen them as bunnys
So then , why get so bothered by the statement? You sort of worked against yourself their , spike mate.
I'm not your mate
I am saying why is he so bothered about the girls dressed as bunnys when he can't see them, its got nothing to do with working against myself I am just making a point.
Yes. And im saying if he cant see them then why are people making such a big deal about a childish comment he made?

And whats with the 'im not your mate'? I used 'mate' as a natural extension of the sentence , nothing more. No need to be so outright rude just because [god forbid] somebody poses you an argument.

I can see where your coming from , but forget the blind card for just a second and picture Dale performing the same trick. An attractive man who looks less likely to be a perv or eccentric weirdo.

Do you think Sylvia would have viewed it as the daft , slumbering party trick Mikey performed it as? I think she would have.

I agree. But I would've reacted in exactly the same way as I have.

I think a guy with 20/20 vision would have got even more flack for it, but probably not from Sylvia herself - because she's very shallow (there is no denying).

I would hardly call that an argument you have posed, just trying to defend Michael with ridiculous comment

He was drunk. He took the p**s. If a clean shaven man with 20/20 vision did the same trick , their would be much less flack. Think about that for a second.

Any further courtroom style language you throw in my way to describe his actions I fell fend off by simply saying he was extremely drunk , and Im giving the guy the benefit of the doubt for now.

Vile? Creep? I think I will leave that language for now. Their are a million men at a million stag parties who perform the same trick to raptorous applause.
actually yes...if it had been Dale or Rex who had done that most of you would be defending them...saying "oh they were only having a laugh" but as it's the weird blind guy it's "vile", "creep"

you don't have to agree with that, but it is true.

and just for peoples information none of them knew who's the knickers were, so saying thinks like "I can't believe he did that prank on her" is just stupid.

Half of which you are ignoring and replying back to with nonsensical garbage. Of course its an argument. Everyhting is an argument , no matter how silly you think my argument is. Try to tackle the problem head on instead of childishly replying for once in your life.

Regardless of whether they would be defended or not, it's hardly the most intelligent thing to do is it?- Parading around in a girls pants, just a few days after you've met her!!

How can anyone really argue that Mikey wasn't in the wrong?

What did Sylvia do wrong again, other than perhaps be a bit offended and embarrassed? Heck, I'd be embarrassed if some girl did a similar thing to me!

That's the problem isn't it- Mikey doesn't know her well enough to know how sensitive she would be. He just shouldn't have done it, simple as...

I said he shouldn't be bothered about them wearing bunny costumes because he cant see and you are telling me I shouldn't be bothered about his comment. He said it and thats for me to decide if it bothers me or not. Don't tell me what I should be bothered about.

You are just trying to defend Michael with silly comments like that, you can't defend him properly so you are telling me that I shouldn't be bothered about his comment. If you are going to defend him, try and do it well.

I agree that it's not so much about the action but the reaction...Michael's initial reaction was laughter, then confusion, then remorse....a natural reaction for a non-creepy, totally normal guy who got drunk and was having fun. He tried to apologize, what more do you guys want? And what other actions are you basing his "vile" "creepy"ness on?

Sylvia's reaction was initial shock, and then she had a VERY condescending rant at him, and continued to spout venom at him, mario, and anyone who defended him for the rest of the day. And I won't bring Alex into this but she was just as bad.

Saying he was drunk is hardly a defence. Some people become violent when they are drunk, does it excuse that too?

Perhaps if he is such an idiot when he is drunk, he should be careful not to get so drunk in future! Like I said, to many people, it may be 'just a laugh' but to others it is embarrassing.

He doesn't know the girl for one, he was stupid to do something like that.

Saying he was drunk is DEFINITELY a defense. Have you ever been drunk before? And how can you equate putting on a piece of fabric with getting violent? Those are two very different actions.

The only two that weren't laughing were Alex and Sylvia...no one else in the house, including their buddy Dennis understood why they reacted that way to HARMLESS fun.

He doesnt know the girl, you're right, and so he didn't know her boundaries. Now he knows. Personally, I would guess if someone came into the BB house where nudity and drunken mishaps are commonplace they would be a little less prudish...and I would guess the people watching would be less prudish too. There have been far crazier things than putting on a girls panties before.
