He should of handled the situation maturely, but instead he got really aggressive.

What i said before was true and yes marco went up to his face.

Yes you would, because your probably a bit immature and you should be for your age, where an adult would act mature.

Jason is a snake in the grass, he really was spoiling for a fight

I didn't agree with the food fight, so don't put words into my mouth.

See your doing what i said you where doing, making things up to suit yourself. I never said i agreed!

It was immature of them to have a food fight, but jay was still aggressive

One needs to analyse the reason for Jason's desire to fight. Upon such analysis it is clear that he thought that he had a good chance of winning BB5 having seen the apparent break up of Marco's harem (Marco, Nadia, Michelle & Emma), the major alliance in the house, and reducing it to only Marco and Nadia. He had formed a strategic alliance with Vanessa, Shell (through Vanessa), Victor and had cemented his relationship with Stuart now that Michelle had left the house. Earlier in the show he had bonded with Dan through means of flirting. Finally he did not perceive Ahmed as any significant threat.

Upon the surprise return of Emma and Michelle Jason was quick to realise that he had been fooled into believing he may have an excellent chance of winning and it was also quite clear to him that certain events in the house (victor's mystery cold showers & his matress being egged & wetted) had something to do with the devious pair. This realisation occurred when Emma related stuff to Victor (in Jason's presence) that Victor had said in her absence.

Further, Jason was being wound up by the food fight, the state of the house after the food fight, Victor's ramblings of how he was going to flip on Emma and Marco et al's perceived lack of respect towards him when he ordered them to clean the house tommorow. The alcohol served to lower the threshold where housemates let go of their emotions.

am i missing something here?

endemol are the only guilty party. bb4 was so bad they chose volatile housemates who would clash bigtime (good) but then went too far with the bedsit idea...the whole point of bb (imho) is that housemates say one thing to someone's face and something else behind their back, and we love it because WE know what's happening but the housemates are blissfully aware. that's the whole point of the show.

emma (who i have gone off totally since she entered the bedsit) was always gonna handle it badly and set this kind of thing off...can you imagine knowing what everybody really secretly thinks about you and having several days to mull it over? so how would a 5-year old (ie emma) react?

i don't honestly see how bb5 can continue after this but doubtless it will and i'll keep watching...for me they have to lose emma and jason and things may work out (victor is too harmless and hapless to throw out, all talk no action)....

Spurtmeister totally agree with your comment about Victor, all bark and no bite. Incidentally, did you guys realise how the public vote was biased in favour of voting Emma and Michelle into the bedsit rather than any other combination of the three housemates who were supposedly up for eviction, the third of whom was Ahmed? IMO it would have been quite fun to see Ahmed and one of the girls in the bedsit. It would have made excellent viewing, especially since neither of the girls get on with him at all. Also, if the housemates voted to evict Emma and Michelle and felt that they have been cheated by Big Brother, they may all decide to vote them out again when the next nominations are up. I hope they do.

There was always going to be a fight of somesort, Emma was furious about what was said, Vic & Jay were furious about them being back in the house. It was inevitable, and planned be endemol (you heard the things Davina was saying before they let them into the house)

Kore, i'm sorry, but i really have to disagree with you, Jason was going to kick off and he was the first one to instigate aggresive behaviour, the way he spoke to Marco was out of hand and i'm no Marco fan. He was provoking a fight, simple, if someone spoke to me like that i wouldn't stand for it either.
In his own words "I'm going to explode" and an hour or two later, he did.

The ex-SAS guy, Ken, on BBLB pointed out very clearly that Jason was gearing up for a fight, so what was going to happen was inevitable, but somehow the psychologists on team didn't notice... there's a surprise... now, I wonder who'll be getting their P45s on Monday?
