This is the first we've heard of him though, while Simon was doing all sorts to get Leona's name in the papers. Leon has said on his blog that he has only seen Simon a few times since he won the show.

Yeah that's because Simon was Leonas mentor though, so obviously he cares more about what Leona is doing and getting her name in the papers. Also, the fact that he was probably shocked he found someone as talented as Leona.

You do realise that the winners are signed up to Sony BMG, the company Simon works for, and they go under Simon's control? Dannii probably has no control over him. Simon doesn't care about who he mentored, he just cares about whether the winner is a cash cow or not.

He was her mentor on the show, but he is in charge and after the show its up to him to look after every winner of the show. His act or not. In series 2, Louis chose and asked to be Shayne's manager. Dannii isn't a professional manager, so she wouldn't know how to look after Leon. Weather Leon is as talented as Leona is irrelevant, Simon should be putting the same effort into Leon as he did with Leona. In fact, maybe more seeing as Leon isnt not as known or as popular as Leona.

Leona and Leon aren't the only acts signed to Simon's label. He can't give a full input to all, which is why there others working for him. Leona is probably their biggest selling artist/most popular - so if she is given treatment then it's only fair. She needs to keep up her image and release in new countries. And this time last year, we had NO news on Leona. Not even single news. Leon is getting the same coverage Leona did last year before her single was released.

Yes I do know, but Leon has said himself in newspapers that Dannii has been helping him in the studio.

Of course Simon cares, he may not come across it, but he grows close to his acts and wants the best for them, hence the reason he cares more about Leona than Leon

I'm sure if Leon was his act and Leona was Dannii's he would still feel the same. Leona is clearly more profitable and marketable than Leon is. We'll see if Leon gets a number one in America.

Why? He isn't the only act on the label is he? They hvae to put more work into Leona as for as long as they do, she's guaranteed big singles etc
