I agree with all of these, except the last one - which I agree with about 70% and rising.

Child allowance. I have mad a choice not to have kids. So why should I pay for someone else to have them. If you can't afford kids, don't have them. They should be your responsibility. Not the states.

Add to that all benefits except for disability benefits. I don't believe in the rule that you qualify for them, everyone should get them, or everyone shouldn't.

I just disagree with benefits as a whole. Then theres jobseekers allowance and income support for those who are too lazy to get up off their a*se and get a job. Why should I work and pay taxes for someone to sit around? The only people I'm interested in supporting are those who physically or mentally cannot work and I think everyone who [wrongly] claims other types of benefits are dragging benefits *disabled* people get through the mud and it isn't fair.

I think income support is linked to disability benefits too.

This is one case where I agree with income support.
A carer of a disabled person (their spouse, or children) cannot go out and get work as they have a full time job caring, and so apply for income support. There is a 'carers allowance' but it's very minimal and wouldn't pay for the food for 1 person, let alone a family.
So this is one case where I believe income support is being used well.

Oh I forgot about the carers allowance, I remember someone telling me about it it was something ridiculously low like £40/week. Who on earth can live on that I have no idea. But basically anything linked into people with disabilities, their care etc I don't mind paying my taxes for, but those who are too lazy to get a job don't deserve anything IMO.
