Bit hypocritical if you ask me.
Point me to the last thread I posted that only certain people can post in
There aren't ANY threads where "only certain people" are allowed to post in; you're not being forcefully excluded from them.

As someone who finds them equally annoying, I know I could get involved at the same time...
Now that you put it like that, I understand

Maybe its just the forum needs an equal amount of threads with meaning

We just dont have the ying to counter the yang

Lol, I wouldn't recommend a ying

Just...try to ignore them, I guess.

ok i have wanted to post something similar to this in ages so thankyou chewy for doing so,well said.
Over the past few months it seems like a lot of newbies have come in and some (not all may i add) have formed there own little clique,i don`t have a problem with this but what i do have a problem with is when they make stupid ,annoying pointless threads about sweet **** all.Im all for the odd random post, hell i do it myself enough but when the whole of general chat turns into random crap about phone calls or msn convos between members it does become annoying.
I`ll probably get a whole load of backlash for this post but ah what the hell, ive said what i think

I doubt you'll get any. Some of the people who I've seen doing it also agreed in this thread it was anoying :/

But I agree with everything you've said.

i know some may think oh just ignore the threads but most of them have misleading titles so you open em read them and then its like wtf, they don`t make any sense to anyone on tibb other than like 2.3 or 4 members. Its a bit frustrating,I thought we discussed 'real' things on this forum ,topics which actually had a talking point and that everyone could discuss

I think the saddest part of it is that I've heard whispers that some of the people who make pointless threads about nothing actually plan the threads on MSN then make them. Wtf? Do these people not have anything better to do?

Chat & Games = one big mess atm.

If you're going to make friends with people outside of the forum then good luck, but keep it outside the forum.

I find it funny that most of the people complaining were in some form of TiBB "exclusive" club before this one.

Enough beating around the bush; I guess you all mean people like SiaSiaSia, Hannahhh, Annie, Fom, Ross, etc. [sorry to include you if you don't see yourself involved].

But months ago, wasn't it always: Conzors, Nickyy, DoubleTrouble, Kate.., Chewy.

And before that: Markus, Chrizzle, Stacey, Sophii3x.

There's always in-groups.

I don't know. I'm all for making friends on the forum and having fun with it there. I just don't like it when it gets too much and you have to be friends with people to enjoy tibb. Mostly.

And the previous group always feel phased out by the whole thing, because they're no longer the new kids. Trust me, it happens to everyone - it happened to Princess, Legend, myself etc. when we were no longer the "new kids."

I don't really mind the groups, cause people with simular personalities with obviously become close and thing like that. That really doesn't bother me. It's just some of the threads that are being posted that bug me.

I must agree I really dislike all the random threads, I came on here for a good chat but I find that happens less often now. I dont even come on here that often now =/
And Shaun, I dont start any pointless threads or threads meant for just a certain person. I join in on some of the threads such as Tibb Town because they are open for everyone but I dont class myself as one of the annoying people starting silly threads.

I don't really see the problem tbh, afterall it's just people having fun on a forum, and if you don't like the threads that they post then you can easily add them to your ignore lists so you don't have to see them.

I think the main problem is that a lot of older members seem to remember what the board was like pre-BB9 but since there have been loads of people signing up and making groups and I bet there is a split opinion between whether its a problem or not and the date you signed up
