It depends what your concept of a band is, and for me a "band" isn't a manufactured bunch of girls "singing" along to a song which would sound exactly the same as the same amount of other girls singing it, whilst every single one is replaceable. Girls Aloud, OK I can see that one at a push because they've been around for what feels like ever but The Saturdays?! That to me is a pop group, not a band. For me a band is a group who write their own material and play their own instruments etc. And I'm as far from a music snob as you can get. So:

1- Oasis
2- Queen
3- The Beatles
4- The Killers
5- Kings of Leon
