I'll leave it as it, at least I can debate with you, always a great debater unlike arista, and the debate is like a discussion between deaf people.

You can go back to your Sad Fable Bible.
its like your a record stuck on repeat.
he has stated on many occasions, that he doesn't follow the bible to the letter, so why don't you just give him a break, and stop stirring trouble, because you have nothing better to do with your day.
bored much, go out then, or find a hobbie, but for gods sake get off here,.

Theres No Trouble here
Records are Cool.

i'm guessing arista is a child by the way he responds.
either that or he has the mental age of a child and is stuck in a "mans" body

okay then i will, but what actually is wrong with a little "pix and mix" when it comes to religions and beliefs.
if i was a Christian, i wouldn't be an extremist and follow the bible to the letter, i would believe what i thought was right in it.

But the whole idea of Christianity is the entire Bible is the complete 'right'.

Yeah, and if you choose not to follow it, IMO, your not exactly a Christian. What do you mean by 'in this day and age'? Who is making these decisions exactly? Did God come down from the heavens in 1972 and proclaim Bible reading a thing of the past? No. You should still follow the Bible, it's people themselves that have fucked up, which is probably a good thing, as the Bible is a horrible book.

if you want to follow the bible to your own extent then that doesnt make you less of a christian in my opinion, its extremist idiots that have made people believe that if you arent hardcore then your not a christian, which in my opinion is bullshit, alot of stuff in the bible is bullshit, but some things are just common sense.
and what i meant by in this day and age, for example is, with homosexuality being so out, and not frowned upon, well i don't know about where you live, but here its not, its easier for a person to choose what he wants to belive from the bible/.

But thats my point. Choosing what you want to believe from the Bible. Your either in the Christian faith or not. It's not a fucking happy meal. It's like showing up to work and deciding your only going to do half of your contracted duties.

By all means choose what you want to believe in, but if your beliefs dont fall in line with those of the Christian Church, I think it's time to find a new church.

Fine, continue on being an obnoxious fucking robot. Good to see that your staunch atheism has led you to lead a highly productive life spent posting messages on internet forums.

So, just to get this clear: the parts of Christianity you like are true, and the parts you don't like aren't? How marvellously convenient. Isn't it nice when God accomodates our personal preferences like this! I suppose half the Bible was just an elaborate joke.
