I suppose Mary brought it on herself by being in a bad mood for the two days around when she was nominated and up for eviction, whereas Craig kinda pulled out all the stops to stay in with his Britney dance etc. (Yes, I know it wasn't shown on the C4 show until after the votes closed, but it was shown on BBLB).

I have this horrible feeling that all the "characters" (Derek, Kemal, Makosi) are going to be voted out as soon as they come up for eviction and we will be left with a group of rubbish wannabees. I am so desperate that I am even starting to think that Lesley is now moving up the ranks to be one of my fave housemates!! Hellllp!!

I did like the way that Roberto hugged her and supported her when they were waiting for the announcement last night. He's another housemate I can't make my mind up about !

Just thought of something else to try and console me .... at least it's better to be first out than second. Most people who are second out fade into even bigger insignificance, e.g. Andy, Stuart, Justine! (Alison from BB3 doesn't count and BB5 was different).

Totally agree (well, maybe not the whole Lesley is my fave thing!)

The eviction of Mary instead of gurny Craig, is a sad, sad sign for this years BB.

And that little s**t Craig is sitting in the house now, smugly thinking that his crying and Britney Spears crap saved him. Next time he's up for eviction, cue the water works and pathetic exhibitionism. Sad little b*****d.

Wow! That's a surprise.. I suppose I won't pay as much attention to the odds anymore!

I think Mary and Craig shouldn't have been nominated in the first place though!

I think she was very aware that the choices she made had to be:
1) Real enough for the housemates to think they were made by the group, not just one person
2) In line with the public opinion and not choosing someone who would be really popular in the outside world

She played it very tactically. She didn't choose Maxwell because of reason 2). She didn't choose both Craig AND Vanessa because of reason 1). And she thought that with Mary having said she wanted to go on several occasions, that this choice would be seen as fair by the public and a likely candidate for nomination by the housemates.

That's jut my opinion - I don't have a hotline to Makosi's brain!!

hmmmmmmmm we dont know she might have a clause to appeal but her rift with Makosi now will be terrifying and also i remember that Becki from last years big bro had contact with the outside before she was put in so maybe mary might get put in to stir the **** up

What "clause to appeal" could she have?

And she was on BBLB today saying she has no problem now with Makosi voting her, and Makosi was in the diary room saying she feels bad for nominating Mary, so I don't think there's much of a rift there.

Anyway, I hope they don't put anyone who's been outside back in this year. As much as I liked Tickle, he was disappointing when he returned to the house.

Yeah that's a fab pic!! By the way, did anyone else think that it was a bit weird how this year they have to say goodbye in the lounge then walk out through the house on their own? It's a bit of an anti-climax farewell!!

That lounge sits on it's own doesn't it, it's not attached to the rest of the house. I wonder if it's sound proofed, to try and prevent the housemates getting an idea of what the crowd is saying.

Yeah I think that's a bit part of it. When the evicted housemate actually leaves the house, it means the others can't get as much of an idea about how they have been perceived, I suppose.

And trapped in a small sound proof room, if BB blast the fake audience noise in there as well, they won't be able to hear a thing!

Keeps them more in the dark about the outside world, which has to be a good thing.
