This recap reminds me Ben went through a crazy transformation for me... went from somewhat liking him to almost despising him to actually sort of loving his craziness & his fight from the bottom.

He deserved it though. Not the GREATEST game (he was a bit crazy and messy) but he sure gave it his all and somehow managed to get there with his back against the wall for a while.

The best winner I've seen live anyway (since Kaoh Rong)

This win didn't turn out to be as funny or amusing as I was thinking though - it's just basically a standard & deserved win. Chrissy probably would've been funnier! (or honestly as much as I wouldn't have liked it, Ryan winning would've been pretty damn funny with that story at the end)

Eh, not really actually. I didn't love this season. It wasn't bad at all though, like it's better than Game Changers easily now. Still not as good as MvGx or Kaoh Rong for me but definitely not complaining about this season, and I thought I would be when it was at the merge. It actually did have a pretty strong post-merge surprisingly.

Decently good season, likable/messy cast, and a winner I can get behind a lot more than the average Michelle/Adam/Sarah results we've gotten lately.

This is VERY true. I didn't pay the most attention to it though so I actually didn't think about how bad that was until I read this.

(but then again, I pass on watching a majority of the reunion episodes)

Pretty sure I think they all suck except for maybe the All Stars one that I saw.

agreed, wtf, 23 minutes of which only talking to the final three. Reunions should be at least 1 hour, 1˝h would be better and i wouldnt mind 2-3 hours :

I've honestly never seen so much riggage for one person in a season of Survivor before, literally every twist from the merge onwards was designed to benefit Ben....

In a perfect world it would have been nice to not have Ben as a winner, but still... it´s still better than Chrissy. (For me at least)

I´m pretty certain that all of the final three will return on later seasons. Other ones i could see are Ashley, Devon, Ali, Mike, Alan, Cole, Jessica, Joe, Lauren and Patrick. Maybe Desi too. So basically most of them are potential returnees.

Omg what a tragic finale. Ben is definitely the worst winner ever (in terms of gameplay), no other winner needed 3 idols and a BS F4 twist to make final 3. I didn't like Chrissy either but she deserved to win (or Devon if he made it to F3 like he should've)

I think I would have this season in my bottom 5 at this point, before the finale this wasn't the case but knowing this show cares more about "BIG MOVES" and BS twists rather than organic character development and gameplay makes my enthusiasm for Survivor at an all time low

I'm not sure which episode you guys were watching, because from what I saw Ben and his hat got burned to the ground in the firemaking challenge, giving Chrissogynistic Hofwinner a clear run to the million dollars, beating Devon and Ryan in a unanimous vote

Ben played a very **** game to the point he turned 2 alliances which hated each others guts into one massive alliance AGAINST him and only survived because he used 3 idols back to back plus production rigged it and created a fire making challenge because they knew his useless ass couldnt win a challenge to save his life. So he sucked at all strategy, physical and social parts of the game, he only found idols. I wonder why no one said this in ftc.

Chrissy should've won. She didnt play a flawless game yes but no one played a flawless game but chrissy played all three portions of the game better than anyone. Her social game was good, she knew everyone personally better than other two finalists, she won HALF of the immunity challenges but didnt need to win majority of them because she secured herself a f3 alliance with ryan and devon plus she played the game from day one. Desi, Cole, Joe and JP deciding the winner is a ****ing joke they all sucked at the game. Also **** JP to scum his closest ally in the game i am glad editors gave him an almost INV edgic on his boot episode, bye trash.

I could see an argument for Ryan to win but not Ben. Ben even played a worse game than Bob did.
