The cast and crew of Hollyoaks have been out on-location filming the climax to one of soap's ongoing storylines – near a cliff.

The final chapter of the 'Who Pushed Clare?' plot reaches a sticky end next month when the individual who attempted to kill Clare Cunningham (Gemma Bissix) by pushing her off The Loft balcony is finally revealed.

On learning the truth, Clare exacts revenge on one of the five suspects – Louise (Roxanne McKee), Warren (Jamie Lomas), Max (Matt Littler), O.B. (Darren Jeffries) and Calvin (Ricky Whittle) – by kidnapping someone very close to them.

A Hollyoaks source exclusively revealed to Digital Spy: "When Clare finally figures out who attempted to kill her, she stops at nothing to get her revenge.

"She kidnaps someone very near and dear to the culprit and speeds off in her car. But when a high-speed chase ensues, one car goes over the edge of a cliff…"

They added: "It's the most dramatic episode we've even filmed."

These shock scenes are due to air toward the end of September.

Guy Burnet's character, Craig Dean, will be leaving the show around the same time, while Hannah Ashworth's (Emma Rigby) anorexia storyline reaches a deathly end when either she or friend Melissa (Carla Chases) dies after their eating disorder takes its toll.

Hollyoaks my opinion so don't have ago:
At first hollyoaks was a great soap laughs cheery characters fat women fat blokes ugly people and only 2-3 blonde girls on set but now on hollyoaks if youre not blonde or have a blonde piece in your hair or your thin pretty have a fashion sense don't bother going for the audittion and eveyone seems to be a student in the soap to HMMMM unlike real life but i suppose it gets viewers soory if this offened you tanser.

Hollyoaks have announced that two new members of the Valentine’s family will be joining the show.

Danny and Lauren Valentine will be dumped on the doorstep of Calvin’s this September by their mum Vivien. Vivien tells Calvin and Sasha that Danny and Lauren are their half-brother and sister.

Speaking to the official Hollyoaks website, David Judge who will play Danny says

“Danny and Lauren certainly make an entrance when their suitcase comes smashing through the window, Danny’s mum dumps him and Lauren with Leo and demands he looks after them while she sorts out her housing problems. But it’s when Danny refers to Leo as 'dad' that Calvin and Sasha begin to realise their father has been leading a double life."

The new arrivals arrive on screen from the 6th September. Danny is played by David Judge, Lauren is played by Dominique Jackson.

Monday, August 27

Warren is back to his old self after his release from jail, making dark threats to Clare and baiting Russell and Calvin.

There are plenty of tears at the McQueens as the girls break up with their partners one by one.

Warren is fearful of losing Katy if she opts for a university down south and suggests that he is willing to make amends with Justin if it prevents losing Katy.

Sasha is in heaven when Fletch invites her for a smoothie, but everything is ruined when her arch-rival Michaela appears on the scene.

Tuesday, August 28

Tormented by thoughts of her lost baby, an unbalanced Jacqui vows never to be sucked into other people's lives. Jacqui is on the path to self-destruction as she steals a bottle of champagne from Drive 'N' Buy and struts drunkenly through the village.

Louise is concerned that Warren is falling back into his old ways. She is hopeful that he's intent on changing when he confesses he got decked by Russ and humbly concedes he deserved it, but Louise wonders how many more husbands will be coming after him.

Although she hates herself for it, Jessica cannot stop her descent into the nether world of deception. Myra is frustrated that her daughters are doing little to win back their men.

Wednesday, August 29

After spending the night in a cell Jacqui is ashamed of her behaviour, but she seems to be on a mission to self-destruct. Tony tells her he loves her and that they have to try to move on from the miscarriage, but Jacqui's not sure that she can.

Rhys and Josh return, oblivious to what's gone on at home, and regale Gilly with tales of their conquests. Gilly is uncomfortable with the situation and has to wait for an opportunity to tell them about Hannah. Hannah is sick of Gilly's interference and goes to find Melissa, but she's terrified when Melissa collapses in the village.

Darren is in the mood for love and takes Zoe on a romantic picnic.

Thursday, August 30

Clive storms back into Jessica's life in time to save Zak's television from being seized by the bailiff who assumes that it's hers.

Hannah feels all alone in the world now that Melissa is in hospital. Her troubles mount when Suzanne grounds her after finding out Melissa had been to the house although she is banned.

Gilly is horrified when Hannah cries rape just as Rhys and Suzanne enter the house. Darren lies to Zak that he has bedded Zoe, but is later forced into an embarrassing climb down and has to admit he still has to score.

Unhappy with Jake for letting the spare room to Russ, Nancy's patience is wearing thin at his reluctance to kick him out. When Russ tears up a photo of Mercedes, Nancy demands that that he gets a grip and sort out his life.

Friday, August 31

After falsely accusing Gilly, Hannah is mortified at how her lies have spiralled out of control. Hannah is visibly shocked to find Melissa hooked to drips and monitors when she visits her at the hospital.

Jessica confesses to Zak that her dad made her flirt with his business associate as he ripped him off. Nancy is increasingly wound up by Russ's laddish behaviour. It is clear to Jake that Russ is on a final warning with Nancy when he drunkenly rushes to the loo to be sick, making enough noise to wake up the baby.

And after a series of mini-disasters, Darren and Zoe are beginning to fear that they're not compatible

A sexy rock chick with a dark and mysterious past will throw lives into turmoil when she descends on Hollyoaks village later this year.

Sinead Moynihan – who stared as Ashley Webb in the BBC Three comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous - joins the cast of Hollyoaks as smart and sassy Beth Clement.

It's not long before Beth falls for the charms of Rhys Ashworth (Andrew Moss) but their relationship soon hits rock bottom when her past resurfaces, much to the shock of everybody around her

Speaking of her character, the 25-year-old actress said: "I'm thrilled to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks and to be playing the character of enigmatic rock chick Beth. She's a quick-witted and independent young woman who loves indie and rock music as well as having a real lust for life."

She added: "Beth's got some great storylines lined up and I'm looking forward to the viewers' reactions as both her character and relationship with Rhys develops."

An insider told DS: "Beth's going to be central to a massive autumn storyline for Hollyoaks which will turn certain characters' worlds upside down."

Sinead's first scenes are scheduled to air on Friday, October 5.

It was VERY well done to try and capture the scariness of what the girls are doing. This storyline has been dealt with brilliantly.
