The Jekyll and Hyde stuff could've been explored more IMO, but the Evil Queen is actually owning the season again. It's not the best but it's good.

Andrew J West has been cast in a mystery role in the finale with the potential to be a regular if a season 7 happens. I loved him in The Walking Dead so definitely interested in this.

A new child character is joining alongside

a precocious 10-year-old with a “constant twinkle of mischief in her eye.” And though this girl comes from a broken home, those struggles have only made her stronger — something which will come in handy when darkness threatens everything she holds dear.

There's been quite a bit of talk lately about season 6 sort of wrapping up the current stories and a possible 7th season going in a new direction so people are guessing this is a grown up Henry. Sounds like a similar sort of set-up to what Emma and Henry had at the start of the show.

But if they do get a 7th season (I'm not convinced they will) and do have a time-jump, I can't imagine the show without Jennifer Morrison and Lana Parrilla in particular so I'd guess they'd still be worked in somehow. But yeah, I've been assuming for a while now that season 6 will be the last.

Gideon's storyline could be interesting, the first half of the series was quite directionless so I'm glad they've hammered down some semblance of an arc now.

Yeah, I can't see it getting a 7th series unless they do a shorter season to finish it off which would likely be extraneous given the fact they've hinted that Season 6 will wrap everything up just in case.

I'm glad tbh. There's only so many times they can recycle the same plots. This Regina and Emma trapped in an alternate reality has been done about 3 times.

They're probably resetting in season 7 nor just to prolong the show but change the cast as I can't see many of them wanting to go past their 7 year contracts. Robert Carlyle especially.

I do definitely think a reboot of sorts is the way to go if they continue for another season so I'm glad they might be setting the stage for that should they be renewed.

But if the theories about the casting do come true, I can imagine that being a fitting conclusion too if it does end this year.

It happens with most shows tbh, but most of the main cast appear bored to me after six years. Even Rumplestiltskin scenes are feeling a bit flat.

It's only this year, I feel Lana is fully engaged again as the Evil Queen. It looks like she's missed not playing her as much.

Nothing against Colin but I really don't like Hook and really don't get the collective obsession the writers and some of the fans have with him.

Honestly I'd be happy with just Lana and Rebecca returning (of the main cast that is, there are plenty of recurring characters who've been underutilized who I'd like to see more of too).
