If you get to £50, then you have a real chance, but I think it will need to break the record for the club to justify selling him to the team most likely to drop out of the top 4 out of all of them. Although secretly I'm hoping the Moyesiah doesn't let me down.

when negotiating a fee for a player between the two clubs dont they usually already know about any release clauses? i never knew there was a rule about not knowing clauses and clubs weren't meant to know about them? loads of players have their release clauses revealed to clubs and the media seem to know them, just the other day it was announced Saldado wouldn't leave unless his 26M buyout clause was met..

They're part of the legal contract in Spain to have to have buy out clauses. In England, they're private. I think I prefer the Spanish model, that way everyone knows where they stand.

I know everyone pretty much knows about them anyway, but it's still counts as tapping up, because unless the club releases a statement saying he has a buyout clause of £xm (which they haven't), then the only other way for it to be released is by the agent.

ah that makes sense, yeah it definitely makes more sense doing it the Spanish way.. with these rules in England its always going to lead to something bad. I imagine after our first bid was rejected and we had negotiated a bit i assume we were told about any Suarez had clauses then?

Not by Liverpool, by his agent, and that's where your troubles begin. NO selling club would tell you about any clauses in contracts, it just doesn't make sense.

It definitely strengthens our hand that you made that bid, as far as I'm concerned. But I'm neither an agent, or a lawyer. Legal precedent is there though, it just depends how we want to use it.

I wouldn't rule out Real Madrid just yet because they have the Gonzalo Higuain cash to spend, although they need to find a replacement for Raul Albiol in their defence too?

I just played Player Career mode on FIFA 13 and I just went beast mode on a another club. Scored 5 goals and assisted on two. Team won 11-0 I scored 5 goals on 7 shots. It was hilarious.

all things lead to Bale and Bale only.. They will get him this summer or next, they have Benzema and its time for Morata to step up now Higuain has gone. Zidane who is still part of Madrid and works with them has said he's the most entertaining player in Europe at the moment, he'll have had a say on the matter.

hes a pretty small and slim guy so people would worry about that but then again Oscar and Lucas were/are pretty slim and they've done amazing over here so far. But hes class in my opinion and gets into the Brazil squad ahead of Coutinho and for 22m Euro's and with Gervinho leaving we would be stupid not to get him
