Just finished watching Asylum.

Loved the final episode, much better conclusion than Murder House.

But, the aliens? What the ****? I also expected more of the Devil storyline.

Was that final scene insinuating that Lana lied about a lot of the events at Briarcliff?

I really liked that episode. Hopefully it keeps up with this kind of plot/character development, because it's pretty great so far.

It was a bit of a mixed bag, I like Ethel's backstory and I thought the Mordrake stuff was interesting although I was looking forward to a series without supernatural elements. I think Esmerelda? is a character with potential, I just hope she doesn't end up playing the bitch again.

The songs are starting to annoy me, They would have been far better if they were used sparingly but having one every episode just reeks of Ryan Murphy trying to cash in on the Glee audience now that show is ending. Also the Clown's gone from one of the strongest aspects of the show to one of the weakest, I just don't care about him anymore and pairing him up with Dandy, who has quickly become grating, was a mistake.

Also these longer episodes are needless, the episode started to drag by the end.

I'm really starting to believe that Twisty is the one who gets taken to Hell next week. There's a photo of Dandy wearing his mask and he's yelling at the sky next episode. He'll be taking over his work for sure. Also we get to know Twisty's backstory next week. Just like Kathy's last week. He runs into the freaks so I assume Edward runs into him as well. I figure he only takes souls who use their disability for evil.

The actor is only listed for 4 episodes.
