I'm not planning on taking up smoking again I had a small weak moment at work

Damn those cigarette's

I think this bar should ban smoking and remove the cigarette machine just to make sure I don't keep thinking about starting smoking again!

I have my own patent cough cold cure

2 or 3 tablespoons of clear Honey
2 or 3 squirts of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of cinnamon

top up with hot water from the kettle

seemed to work for me

The cafe bar trade has dropped off a bit too.

the youths hanging around in front looking menacing does not help much

The head one wanted to see the manager about something, he would not speak to me, as I am not the organ grinder.

Perhaps you should arrange a clandastine date with Dermie at Boris's so you can get away from the paparazzi to spend some quality time together. I am sure our wonderful bar manager would allow you to use the 'back room' for your date - just as long as you tell US ALL ABOUT IT AFTERWARDS.
