Jennifer Morrison has quit the show.

But something tells me that the show will not get renewed.

I'm surprised actually, she was the one I thought would be a certainty for returning. It was Robert Carlyle I was sure may not want to continue.

I enjoyed it.

I'm looking forward to the finale, it's all feeling very final (which is good since it's called The Final Battle

), I like that they took this approach in case it does end with this finale.

My first thought when finding out about Jennifer leaving was that Emma would probably die in the battle (taking the Black Fairy down with her of course), but then I remembered about the very likely time jump coming so even if a season 7 went ahead, it would make sense for Emma not to be around as much but still be alive.

I do wonder if they'll hark back to season 3 by having Rumple die taking down the Black Fairy as he did with Pan but I think she's Emma's alone to defeat at this point.

The way this show has consistently neglected her all throughout the show has been ridiculous.

I remember that before the musical episode the writers said Rumple and Belle would not be around "due to the events in the previous episode 'The Black Fairy' although Rumple will make an appearance.

So, what was the reason for Belle not appearing?

Also, all of this stuff about being contracted to appear in one episode of season 7, does that mean Emma's contract included that 1 episode already before they opened negotiations to renew the contract or that's what they've asked of her after she quit?

The musical episode was okay I guess? The songs were fun but I thought the story was weak and very thrown together. The writers wanted to do a musical episode but obviously couldn't come up with a good reason to justify it so it all felt like a redundant gimmick tbh.

It's a shame because if any series should have been able to do a great musical episode it should be Once.

Overall Buffy just did the concept better.

So we now know that Zelena is going as well as Emma Swan (although Jennifer Morrison did say she would be appearing as a guest in one episode). And we know that Regina, Rumplestiltskin and Hook will be back.

But what about Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), Henry Mills (Jared S Gilmore), and Belle (Emilie de Ravin)?

We guess we'll find out soon enough...

But, as we knew the rumours about them only wanting to bring those 4 regulars into the reboot I was kind of hoping after Morrison decided to quit that they'd write Hook out with her.

The fact that Hook is still confirmed to be back must mean she dies, right?

Not here for a full season of Hook mooning about Emma being lost in another world or whatever. What other reason could they be split up?
