186. Aaron Frew (BB16 - 17th Place)

GASP, I'm breaking my cardinal rule of eliminating someone from a series I only Wiki-watched rather than did a full watch with edgic *BUT* Aaron was booted early though that I think I have a pretty good grasp on him bc I actually saw most of his footage? He only lasted two weeks and is pretty much solely defined by his ejection so yes I can handle it, let's get him out of the way.

Aaron Frew is... a very simple man. Very stupid indeed, perhaps "dangerously stupid even by BBUK standards" as my friend so eloquently put, which is frightening when you think about how many ****ing stupid people have been on this show. And then you throw in the fact that he was a bit of a predatory gay and yeah that's pretty much a recipe for disaster isn't it?

re: The Joel Thing... Joel is totally a closeted gay and An Awful Gay and an awful human *BUT* Aaron's "behavior" around him was gross and shady before The Incident bc 1) stop being a pervy creep, leave him alone, 2) it's ****ing @JoelTory that you're finding yourself attracted to, seek help please. This led to Aaron "jokingly" hitting on him and making uncomfortable passes at him and then ultimately rubbing his penis on him????? I've always been perplexed at people saying that Aaron was ROBBED and UNFAIRLY PERSECUTED in his ejection bc, like, "attempting to intimidating someone by use of his genitals" seems like a pretty valid reason to eject someone if you ask me? But for some reason people thought this was super unfair both on this forum and in that house, and it pretty much got to the point where ****ing Sarah Greenwood of all people was making me empathize with @JoelTory, someone who didn't seem to exhibit an iota of human emotion!!!!!!

So yeah, Aaron sucked and BB16 was awful and I'm eventually going to torture myself one day and do a proper full series watch and edgic bc what better way to punish myself xxx can't wait.

He went into the game with a total gameplan, to find an easy girl and start a relationship....

And picked a girl with an annoying voice who he didn't really like, and who only got uglier and uglier as the series went on.

The only reason he had any friends was because he was trying to force the relationship down Ashleigh's throat and would go to great lengths to play it up to the viewers.

However, even though he admitted to the good folks at Barbell Media that he had no intentions of staying with Ashleigh, he continued to fake it in every conversation with her even after he was evicted. Not to mention the fact that he was creepily clingly to her throughout the series.

It was probably a totally lavender relationship from the beginning, as his extensive knowledge of women's shoes, makeup, sewing, and frequents gay bars.

Add to that Luke S had no balls.... he always let someone else take the fall for him. Even if it means putting his girlfriend's hair on the line a day before her eviction, just so he could get a beauty treatment.

His sexuality aside, Luke's only true love in life is himself and his body.

Because with looks like that, you really don't need a personality.

But once all is said and done, he'll be most remembered for his white room failure....

And weeping like a baby because he was too slow to hit the button.... and too greedy to take anything less than 50k. He showed no reaction when his "girlfriend" was voted out, but he cried for a week and a half after he lost that task.

So being the "expert" gameplayer he thinks he is, he tries to act like he didn't mean to hit the button and he got really upset with Conor for doing what anyone would have done. Deena and the Great British Public saw through it and made fun of Charlie getting his gold ticket... leading to more TEARS.

So thank you Luke S, for being such a deplorable human being, massive wanker, and hilarious housemate.

I'm one of those people who think he was really nice etc lol... I just find it really hard to believe that he was a completely different person on live feed to what we saw on the show. And I can't remember the Science thing but surely he was joking and didn't really want him to starve

Like if you think about how some of them behaved, Makosi for example lying about Anthony impregnating her, (and I can't remember off the top of my head but I'm sure there were lots of other people doing awful things,) yet Makosi's considered a legend.
Then again I found Eugene and his stories/his general demeanour amusing so maybe that's what it is, I can imagine that if you didn't he would just be an utterly pointless housemate and frustrating that he was so liked. He was still a unique personality to the series though and added to it in that respect.
