Dont watch Emmerdale unless something big likes this happens, but it was meh..
The switching between Jackson and Aaron was good, and the bit where Jackson realises the train is coming, but the actual crash >_>

If I'm honest Emmerdale alienated me a long time ago, when they started ignoring characters like Victoria Sugden and Eric Pollard and starting bringing in very boring characters like the Wyldes (though Mark was great
 ), Sharmas, the Bartons and the final straw, Leyla's boring sister

Does anyone think it's silly that there are so many good looking women in it? I mean would there really be that many hot women in the Yorkshire Dales? Also, how come most of the actor's don't have Yorkshire accents? They seem to have either Lancashire or Southern England accents.

I find it more ridiculous that the entire village consists of about 5 houses in the middle of nowhere!
 And that it still has a thriving pub, 2 shops, a cafe, a vets surgery & a restaurant...

I don't mind Leyla's sister but she's not very good actress and she looks so much better without all the makeup, she's unrecognisable. The Barton's are starting to grate on me, the actress who plays Holly is terrible. They need to use the older characters more like Diane, Val, Betty, Pearl, Laurel, Ashley etc. These days it's all Bartons/Carl, Chas, Eve/Wyldes, Declan and Lambs.

I totally agree, I think it's time for Gavin Blyth to step down, he did make some good changes to the show, but he seems to be targeting the wrong demographic, I miss the Emmerdale I used to watch, with scandal rife in the village, and the big family ruling over it all

I really enjoyed Emmerdale's hour long special last night, the build up in the last five minutes was brilliant.
However I feel somewhat cheated ! The adverts and all the teasers leading to this accident were about four friends on a night out something terrible happens and one of them will be fighting for their life. Four friends ??? It turned out to be just Jackson and we all know what his future on Emmerdale is.

I'm going to miss Nathan despite how nasty he is and Maisie but most of all Natasha who I really like
 .Reading that Chas doesn't get violent with Carl and Eve when she finds out about the affair at first but plans a more subtle revenge and a downfall for Carl is very interesting but still won't change my mind about the plot being forced and contrived...

They should have had another character be in the van when the train hit it & be in a critical condition in hospital, as I don't think anyone really cares about Jackson... Mind you had it been Marlon, Paddy or Aaron I still wouldn't have cared!
