Nara Dreamland in Japan was built in 1961 after Disneyland took the world by storm. The entrance to the park was almost identical to Disneyland and included its own version of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. The park closed in 2006 because of low visitor numbers.

I studied in Cardiff for three years so I'm familiar with the locals in the city center

but yeah some lovely areas to the south

If anyone watches casualty and remembers when they did the riot episodes either last year or the year before, the shop where the old man worked and got pushed down the stairs, is a 5 minute walk from my house and it looked better on screen than it does in real life.. and they were filming a ****ing riot

I write short stories, of which I've been lucky enough to have a few published (horror, paranormal, and romance) and have had very near misses with a couple of TV screenplays - both were well received but ultimately rejected, though I did receive encouraging feedback from both channels - a rarity in itself.

Unfortunately, life's realities overtook my literary aspirations, and I 'temporarily' put writing on the 'back-burner' because I had a living to earn. That 'temporary' period became ten years, but I have just started writing again, so who knows - 'que sera, sera'.
