well, everyone's left is a gal. But I'm sure they have themes thought up in advance.

I usually prefer the live version of performances but some studio versions are good. I have 2 songs from Elise Testone, One From Haley Rhinehart. I also have a few from the Voice US as well.

Idolpad is reporting a pretty cool twist

Apparently the finalists could be performing a original song eariler than the final 2. Basically instead of a Winner's Single it's basically a whole album that they'll be releasing shortly after the show is over and the winner will be performing original songs on the Idol Tour as well. They have been secretly been writing/co-writing songs.

If the twist is true I bet the final 2 will be Candice and Angie. Take Out the Alphabet Curse (Winner is whoever is furtherest down the alphabet in the final 2. IE Kelly over Justin, Phillip over Jessica) and it's a tossup.

If Kree makes the final she wins if the curse continues.
Amber will not win.
Candice would beat Angie, Amber
Janelle Would Beat Angie, Amber, Candice
Angie would only win if she faces Amber

Yep, Now here's the rub, the show is now a week ahead of schedule since the final is May 16th.

What's going to happen? Is the final 4 going to last two weeks, or will they have an epic concert celebrating the winner?

Apparently due to there being too many episodes and not enough contestants left, the producers have decided that the save can be used at Top 4. So basically, whoever goes home next week (Amber) will be saved.

Actually the FOX press release explicitly stated that the Top 4 will become Top 3.

They have to be on the air May 16th. So I'm guessing the final week will be a celebration of the season with the Winner basically showing off their winner album.

They have actually done that in the past but only in special situations.
Season 2 did call off a elimination at the last second because of Corey Clark's DQ Elimination but did confirm that the bottom 2 were on stage. Votes carried onto next week.
The First two Idol gives back specials (Sort of like a For Comic Relief US) were the same. But Results weren't revealed.

I don't think they'll wait until the results show to do that or else they might jump the shark. I bet that at the beginning of the performance show they'll say The Top 4 will run for 2 weeks, because the save wasn't used.

the show has been spiraling downhill since Season 9 (Which was the first season without Paula, the talent wasn't helping). Also BBT keeps gaining viewers and viewers on CBS thanks to Syndicated Reruns and TBS Reruns.

I do think they should only have a 30 minute results show. Every show's results should be 30 minutes unless it's a finale.

I do need to let people know that it was only in the 18-49 target demo.

Only began watching last season and really enjoyed it. Thought it was miles ahead of X Factor.

Good week for Angie and Kree, as I imagine Candice is surely lingering near that top spot usually. Head start on her this week.
