Marc is probably my least fave non-Conor HM of all time. He was a sexist prick who rinsed and repeated the same act thousands of times over (which normally involved making jabs at the women over like their weight) and yet was hailed as this beacon of entertainment coming to rid the show of boredom. Like the reason all the originals stuck together was because of how much they hated Marc. And it seems like the show wants more Marc-type personalities which really infuriates me. He is disgusting and I dread his eventual appearance in BB17

It's not Marc's actions that make him a good housemate, but it's the reactions he provokes in people that does and that is usually always the case for housemates like him. Granted the same storyline did wear a bit thin towards the end, but housemates that piss others off and are difficult to live with are beneficial for the show. They may not be good people or ones that we'd want to live with, but within the confines a television show they are necessary.

I don't buy into the theory that BB16 was boring before 4in4out because it wasn't, and as series ruining as that twist was (moreso than Marc himself) because we lost three great housemates, his presence wasn't all that bad and gave people like Danny especially a purpose, and to a lesser extent Chloe, Sam and even Cristian. That's never a bad thing.

Around 5 million watched CBB5, 40,000+ viewers complained which is 0.8% of the viewers. So if 1 million watched BB16 and 2,000 viewers complained thats 0.2% - not much change
