Kelly was browsing the forum on her phone whilst walking home. There was an argument unfolding and an argument had broken out in between Vlad_ and Andy. Vlad had accused Andy of bullying other forum members and Andy was being his usual charming self. It was difficult to keep track of what was going on as posts were being deleted almost as quickly as they were being made. Tired of the drama, Kelly exited the browser.
As the screen changed she noticed a figure in the reflection behind her. She jumped and picked up the pace.

She stole a quick glance backwards before turning a corner. The person was dressed in a long trenchcoat with a hood that covered their face. Kelly sped up again but saw in the reflection of a nearby window that the person had followed her around the corner.

"Just ignore it. He probably isn't following you," she mused.

'Hey!' a rough voice shouted at them, it was the figure in the trenchcoat. They started to run towards Kelly. She screamed and took off at full speed, desperate to lose their pursuer.

Kelly ran into an alley and into another in order to lose the chaser but no matter where she ran, the sound of footsteps and his shouting were always close behind. She ducked behind a large bin in an attempt to lose them.

The footsteps grew louder as the person drew near. They walked past the bin and Kelly felt a sigh of relief as the footsteps grew quieter. As she got up from behind the bin, she sensed a hand on her shoulder. It was the person chasing them. Kelly screamed at them and the person jumped. He pulled down his hood.

'Excuse me, you dropped your wallet. I'm sorry if I scared you, mate' he chuckled, before putting his hood back up and skulking away.

Kelly's face burned bright red. She apologised profusely and thanked the man for returning her wallet. Furtively, she opened it to check that the photographs were still there. Sure enough, the image of her sister was still staring back at her. A huge relief. This was her best photo, and one they'd taken just a month before the accident.

Kelly shivered and carried on towards home, squirming at the thought that memories of the whole embarrassing episode would likely haunt her at random intervals for the rest of her life.

Emily, otherwise known as Voyeur, opened the door tentatively and peered inside. There was no one inside. She breathed a sigh of relief, and thought she must have just imagined it all. She walked back towards the staircase and past an open bedroom door. A little too quickly and noisily to notice the slight creaking of the floorboards as a figure moved towards her in the dark.

It wasn't until a gloved hand covered her mouth that Emily realised her predicament. She screamed into the glove. She saw a flash of silver in the dark and felt a sharp pain in the neck. She looked back into the face of her attacker and was greeted with the sight of an eerie white smiling drama mask. "Another fucking Scream reference?" she thought with a brief eyeroll. She reached towards the source of the pain and felt a large hook shaped blade embedded there. Emily cried out in terror as the attacker dragged her, kicking wildly, to the banister. She noticed that the blade was attached to a long chain. She tried to beg for their life but the injury prevented her from speaking; all she could gargle up was more blood.

The attacker held a finger to the lips of their mask. Emily stopped struggling and stared into the mask's eyesockets. 'Please...' she mouthed, as tears streamed from her eyes. It was a moment that lasted an eternity but ended in an instant when the attacker pushed her over the banister.

There was a sickening squelch when the chain became taut and ripped through Emily's neck. Her body landed at the bottom of the stairs while her head hung grotesquely above on the chain. The white decor was now stained with red and the killer decided to leave the head suspended from the chain for Emily's loved ones to find.
