It was a bit of a let down in the end tbh, pretty much the same as last year standard wise in the end and last year was dire apart from Taker v HBK (and that was even with actually being there) same as this year pretty much. Quite an anti climax apart from the main event

It's time to kill the guest host concept. I hate people pretending to be enthusiastic for Raw. I hate the office room being filled with adverts. Heck ... I hate Raw.

I also think WWE need to seriously consider getting out of these stadiums for WrestleMania. Could you imagine how much better tonights matches would have been in the Rosemont in Chicago? Or Madison Square Garden? Or a 20,000 seater in Philly?

They should definitely do MSG for WM30. Without fail I will be going to that one and MSG beats everywhere else for atmosphere hands down.

Can't see them going to smaller venues every year though tbh, not for Mania.

I just thought of something : How stupid was Swagger, in kayfabe, to not cash in his briefcase after Edge basically killed Jericho? On that note I'm going to fucking bed.

It's been a pleasure.

Copy and paste of my UKFF review :

- The stadium looked shit hot. You simply cannot fault the production team. Only Kevin Rudolph blaring over the PA system seemed to ruin the effect somewhat. And for such amazing screens, they displayed a green grey brick wall for 90% of the night. But I'm nitpicking, here. Randy Orton & Edge got a UFO in the ring.

- The tag match was a non event, I guess. Nice fast opener but nothing really to add beyond that. In that respect it reminded me of WrestleMania XXII's opener. I liked Miz's Neo coat and supervillian swagger to the ring.

- The Legacy match was a hell of a lot better than what I was expecting so no complaints from me. It had some nice spots, I felt it was booked the way it should have been booked, it showcased Orton and his fantastic facial expressions, and Cody has white Triforce boots.

- Now unless I stand corrected as I watch the show back as I type, the subsequent backstage segment was the only one of the night. It was certainly the worst WrestleMania comedy moment the WWE have ever tried. Singing woman is not hateable because she is meant to be hateable, she is hateable because she just genuinly is very, very, very annoying. Keep her off the screen in future, please.

- The Money In The Bank match is notorious at this stage for getting progressively worse every year and the 'E should really just can the concept. XXII is still the best for me, and though this was still enjoyable, it felt even more setty uppy than previous years. The additional two men added absoloutely nothing and served only to highlight how it's a match where everybody pretends to be dead on the outside while 2-4 men do a spot in the ring. Switch, rinse and repeat. And what the fuck was Swagger doing winning it? And what the fuck was Savannah doing announcing it? Is it really that vital to get everyone on the roster involved, regardless of how it may compromise the shows quality? Why was she on the mic? Why?

- Dolph Ziggler's really generic.

- A lot of them upper bleachers are really empty looking.

- I bet Vince is fucking dying to use Betty Wagner in a storyline.

- Triple H and Sheamus put on a wrestling clinic. Nah, it was as good as I thought it was going to be, and I thought it was going to be a fun, compact bit of a slugfest. It wasn't bad but it wasn't WrestleMania. Good to see Sheamus get some offence and some nice reactions from the crowd. Triple H looked a bit teary eyed walking up the ramp, killing off any suspense of a heel turn later that night. Damn, The Game is really boring nowdays. I used to be a huge Triple H fan but the last few years have been a pointless blur.

- Okay, heres the thing, everyone was complaining about how people would be complaining about the next matches lenght but you know what? It really, really should have gotten a lot longer. Punk & Mysterio. A good match but it should have been so much more. It felt like the opening stages of a match, which then moved right into the closing spot. The match could have gotten an extra 30 seconds if Rey's entrance wasn't botched. I assume he got pissed with waiting and went up to the main door when the camera panned the sea of red T-Shirts, but according to some sourced he climbed out of the trap door. That's a pro.

- Bret and Vince had a WrestleMania catastrophe. I cant honestly remember anything as dissapointing in recent memory. The whole thing was booked into a drizzle of shits that defies all logical explanation. You could have booked it one million other ways and they all would have been better. I don't know what else to say. Bruce fucking Hart. I think someone called him Bret's son, who looks a bit like Owen. That's Bruce fucking Hart. His about four years older than Bret. And he never removed his shades. Bruce fucking Hart.

- Jericho and Edge was just fine. It took awhile to kick into gear but once it did it was a nice tidy match. I felt it could have gone on a bit longer, and I'm never goin to warm to face/tweener Edge. It's full on Triple H syndrome. I'm happy for Jericho to have gotten a regain on the grandest stage of them all. I hate Michael Cole.

- The feeling that if you shaved two thirds off Bret/Vince and cut the divas match, giving about 15 minuets, including time wasted on entrances, to put on CM Punk and Rey Mysterio will live with me for the rest of the night. I cannot believe Vicky Guerrero overpinned somebody.

- Cena & Batista was everything I expected. Slow start, hot finish. I didn't enjoy it because I don't like the twos work together and I don't like either man in general, but Batista is a lot more bareable as a heel and his single spotlight entrance was fantastic. Cena's still wearing bright orange T-Shirts. The front row smarkattack brigade was still on hand to piss every who has moved on from 2006 off. But hey, I can see the point they are making. It's been what ... seven years now? Turn the man heel at the least.

- Shawn Michaels comes out with a basic entrance for his big dance and Emotaker comes out to wibbly wobbly Psytrance lazers. As for the match ... can you say The Dark Knight? Great, amazing, fantastic match but I have an issue with people calling it the best ever, which a lot of people are. The best ever? Really? Fuck off. It was last years match with a spanner in the works and a much better, awesome finish. Hell In A Cell 97 is still where it's at. Seriously, out of all the matches in Pro Wrestling history the fact that some sites are calling this the best one ever makes me laugh. But that's not to sound negative. It was incredible. Even if Michael Cole ruined every false finish.

- A good WrestleMania that simply could not live up to it's own hype. Great performances were marred by silly time constraints and even sillier booking. And I have never appreciated Jim Ross more in my life. Bring on iMPACT.
