KATIE Price last night vowed to turn detective after her boyfriend’s family had £10,000 stolen.

Leandro Penna, 26, was in a restaurant with his parents and brother-in-law when cash and credit cards were stolen by a thief.

Speaking on Twitter, Katie, 33, revealed the family had taken photos of the culprit.

She vowed to post them online to track him down and said: “The police have pictures let’s see what they do.”

Katie also offered support to her Argentinian boyfriend, writing: “Wish I was with Leo and his family in London but I’m with my children and it’s Princess’ first day tomorrow going to school.”

Leandro had revealed on Twitter that his brother-in-law’s wallet had been taken during the visit to the capital, adding: “We can’t believe it.”

A source said it is believed a suitcase with money in it may also have been taken.

What on earth is he carrying that amount of money around for ?

Katie Price has pretty much done it all, until today's press launch of her new magazine called – what else? – Katie.

It seems the bespoke swimming costume adorned with the magazine's front cover wasn't quite enough in itself. Nor was the fact that she'd attempted to colour match her own skin to her outfit. And let's not even get started on that Barbie hair.

No, the only thing for it was a semi-squat and an airing of her nether regions. You get the picture. Anyway Katie, two words: 'Paula Radcliffe'. And here's another two: 'cheap fabric'.

And in case you're thinking of taking out a subscription, in the first edition you can look forward to Katie slating dishing out 'fashion advice' (ahem) to the likes of Cheryl Cole ('It looks like she's put on weight'), Nicola Roberts ('She always gets it wrong'), Holly Willoughby ('Very mumsy') and Tulisa ('I much preferred how she used to look, you know, a bit more street') in between lots of features about, yep - you guessed it - herself.

They may have officially gone their separate ways years ago, but it doesn’t seem like a week goes past when Katie Price and Peter Andre aren’t at each others throats.

Used to laying low and letting Katie bark herself silly, making a scene and digging herself into a ditch, Peter, 38 has done his best to ignore her new rants.

Even though many may argue that the fame he laps up today was ignited off the back of Jordan’s name, Pete still refuse to have anything to do with his ex, unless their two biological children Junior, six, Princess, four, are involved.

Katie Price is allegedly hoping to get back together with her ex-husband Peter Andre.

The model-turned-entrepeneur is allegedly trying to meet up with Pete in "secret" and is planning a huge party at Christmas and hopes that he'll be attending.

"She's on a mission to sort things out with Pete and reckons they're closer than they've been for ages," a source told Closer magazine. "She feels if she can just get him on his own, she can turn on the charm and make him realise it could work between them again."

Just a week after it was the Mirror reported that Katie was happy with her new beau Leandro Penna, the source insists that she's hoping to try and sort things out with her ex to plead for a second chance.

The source continued: "She's made a huge effort to make him feel comfortable around her again, and all he's ever wanted is a normal relationship with the kids so he's kind of going along with it.

The former glamour model and her three children - Harvey, nine, Junior, six, and four-year-old Princess Tiaamii - are going to pick up the dogs at the weekend but are yet to decide on any names.

She wrote on her twitter page: "Can't wait for the weekend me and the children pick up 2 new puppies I have to think of names any suggestions boy and a girl (sic)"

The Argentine model, who was without his girlfriend, Katie Price, struggled to keep his cool as he jogged on a beach in southern Miami.
Wearing a white printed vest with black shorts and trainers, the 26-year-old obviously wanted to keep in shape and look his best his famous girlfriend.
Wearing large silver headphones, the former Louis Vuitton model appeared to find the heat too much at times and poured water over his face as he ran and even stopped to cool down his arms with the drink.
The tanned TV star has been spending time away from mother-of-three, Price, as she promotes her new magazine entitled, Katie.
But Penna appears to be coping on his own as he took to his Twitter account and posted a rare tweet in English saying: 'Wonderful afternoon, now I will go to take a coffee in South Beach.'

The model, 33, yesterday *announced through friends that the seven-month relationship is over after the pair found it impossible to deal with their *language barrier.

It follows a succession of rows *ending with a “heartfelt and frank” conversation through a translator this week. Both agreed it would be best for Leandro, 25, to move out of Katie’s home and go back to Argentina.

A source revealed: “It’s over. The truth is Leandro was homesick and felt isolated being in the UK without any of his friends or family.

“He also wasn’t working at all and was just under Katie’s feet as she *carried on with her life and career.

“He decided it would be a good idea to return to Argentina and see his family, and try to get work. She agreed it was probably for the best.

“He doesn’t speak good English, she’s been busy on book and magazine *signings across the country and he’s bored out of his mind. It’s sad – but it was for the best that he goes home.”

A member of Katie’s camp confirmed the split yesterday, saying: “It’s not great timing with her new TV show about to launch but both Kate and Leandro needed to be happy and that meant going their separate ways.”

The couple, who met in February at Sir Elton John’s Oscars party, split during a tearful phone conversation earlier this week in which Leandro told Katie how he felt through a translator.

“Leandro decided it was time to take a break,” the source added. “And Katie didn’t disagree. He used a translator to tell Katie how he felt on the phone and said he thought it best he return home.

“He’s bored with living in the shadow and wants to find work and make a life for himself.

“Katie knew in her heart that it was coming. She’s being very adult about the split and says she didn’t see it as a long-term relationship that would lead to marriage and kids. But she will miss him. The language barrier was ultimately the problem for them.”

Leandro was making little progress in his intense course of English lessons.

But Katie, whose Sky Living HD TV show Signed starts at the end of the month, told the Sunday Mirror two weeks ago that they were still using the Google Translate website to *understand each other’s texts. And friends say the mum-of-three is *relieved things have come to an end.

No doubt the 33-year-old is regretting having her toyboy’s name tattooed on her ankle – especially now she and Argentinean Leandro Penna, 25, are no more.
