This is how close they are together in my city, purple is Burger King and red is McDonald's, it's unfortunate for Burger King because McDonald's is always full of people and it seems like everyones first choice.

torquay has 4 subways in one street and just the one BK and I swear all 4 subways are always busier than it

I always see people letting their kid get a crown from Burger King and then going across the road to McDonald's for the food too.

There's a few Subways in my city and they're always popular, I am not surprised though. Subway is a way of life.
