He’s reaching out now after a week of being called out for his disgusting lack of care for the people that have been flooded, no one has ever said it’s his fault they flooded, but as the Prime Minister it’s his duty of care to go to these places after events like these to talk to people, Corbyn was there, why did it take him nearly a week? Too busy covering up his daliances with illegality probably, awful man, it’s not rude to challenge the powers on their lack of action, he crumbles in the face of opposition and his true character comes out, an unsympathetic, emotionless buffoon, get rid.

he was advised to stay away until the rescue and clear up was well underway as it would have hindered the attempt to help by the agencies involved

standard procedure

Ah, so Corbyn was there for a press opportunity but Lord Boris turning up a week late is perfectly fine? I think these people are well within their rights to be a little bit ticked off don’t you? They’ve just lost everything and the man ‘in charge’ couldn’t care less, he had to be forced to do something about it, sorry if I don’t feel sympathy for a man who shows a clear contempt for anyone but himself and his elite pals jfc

‘I know you’ve lost everything my love, but if you could refrain from showing any emotion whatsoever that’ll be grand, little prince doesn’t like negativity in person there’s a good little lamb, here, have a bog roll, see if that’ll help’

Nah, **** that, shout at him, cuss him out, try and make him and his people feel ashamed (it’ll be hard, they don’t have any shame) they need to know what their action, or lack of in this case, is doing to real people away from the London bubble.

the houses were bottom floor flooded to around 1-2 feet of water. If they have insurance as they should they have lost nothing, inconvenienced greatly but the sofa, carpet and all the white goods will be replaced with new items

I have been flooded out several times in a property that I own (with children) have you?

Of course its personal to anyone who votes Tory, anyone else would have got lambasted for this comment. if i want to put labour in a bad light,I will , if I think they warrant it,same as others with thier chosen parties ,really not impressed with that comment at all.

in my post i was rude, with the ''vile tories'' thing

but honestly, conservatives shouldn't win this election (those who made a utter mess, chaos of a brexit which referendum vote was 3, nearly 4 years ago)

Corbyn wants a chance to sort out brexit, i'd say give him that chance and the most important thing anyway is who can deliver brexit the best and conservatives failed to do so twice now (first with May, and second with Boris)

Who made the mess ? I think you will find it was those MPs that kept blocking it because they couldn't accept that more people wanted to leave than stay, that is not democratic at all, the deal really isn't the problem, the MPs desperate to thwart the vote to leave are the problem.

once a house has flooded, it's not habitable, so provided the people were rescued and found emergency accommodation what more needs to be done immediately? I'm at a loss what an MP/ leader of any party is going to do to help in that situation. Sure, call in the army if you like, but that won't get them back living in their homes any quicker

Like Johnson and JRM, who blocked us leaving at one point.

This place has turned straight back into a toxic mess all over again.

let's be honest, all the main party's are a complete mess. They spend most of their time covering up their own internal cracks and divisions. General elections are never noted for being great, but this particular one sets a new low bar.
