Mina got the briefest hand across the his LEFT cheek went down for treatment then was holding an ice bag on the RIGHT cheek !

Crazy watching Newcastle playing away to Everton but outplaying them with some lovely football... this is since the new guy joined the coaching staff ... Bruce’s days must be numbered now .

Son and Ings have both had goals absurdly disallowed over the last few days.
Seriously how can a body part be offside?  I'd even say the same if Villa has a perfectly good goal disallowed because of a body part being offside.

Anyone notice Maguire doing a ‘Harry Kane’ and backing into Alexandre Lacazette whilst he was still in the air (he jumped slightly earlier than Maguire)
They need to ban this practice as someone is going to get really badly injured.. haven’t they banned a similar move in rugby union due to the injuries ? I’d also like the latest professional foul of ‘accidentally’ stamping on feet when ‘pretending’ to go for the ball ... stamped out . I heard Martin Keown say the phrase ‘he’s just been stamped on’ about 5 or 6 times and I saw at least three other incidents. So Newcastle players did it 8 or more times yesterday and don’t recall seeing more than one ‘stamp’ in most games ... Who’s the new guy calling the hits shots at Newcastle ?? Has he got a history of ‘tough-tackling’ tactics I wonder ?? Edit I found this online ... :::: “ Those of us looking for clues as to what he might bring to Newcastle will notice the way he talks about turning around a group of players at Swansea who were not playing to their potential. He talks about the importance of “standards”, of fairness and honesty, that players “have to be led until they’ve earned the right to be trusted”. :::: Using an apparent strategy of ‘deliberately stamping doesn’t seem that ‘fair or honest’ !?!?
