The new head Producer has been announced has familiar with Producing Idol. He's produced the Swedish version of Idol and his name is Per Blankins. Probably expect a bunch of songwriters to make it far then. (I like that)

Also no word on Keith coming or going yet.

Also Fox has also hired the production company that does the graphics for the MTV Movie Awards and VMA in recent years to focus mainly on the live shows. So expect a new title sequence and better production during performances. Along with probably more recent songs.

Also Season 2's winner Ruben Studdard will be a contestant on the Biggest Loser coming this fall in the US.

Ricky Minor the musical director for the show for 2-9 will be returning. He left Idol to become the leader of the band that's on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Leno is leaving the show in January so Jimmy Fallon can take over with the Roots. He wasn't busy so the new production team contacted Ricky.

There's some rumors regarding this season.

one not really spoilerly but the finale is rumored to be in New York At Madison Square Garden.

There's two stages regarding the semifinals process this year, There's a Top 31, may have been 32 but someone must've failed background check.

The First Semifinal part is basically they're split into 3 age groups Juniors (Probably 15-17), Intermediates (18-24 possibly), and Seniors (25-28 probably).

Then 16 singers go through to the second, unknown how many will make it to the Liveshow finals.

One rumored contestant is X Factor US 2 judges house eliminee, Jillian Jensen, she's part of the rumored 31 contestants.

And there will be a special ep, promoting Candice Glover's Album. They're supposed to be debuting The New Stage as well.

They will reach 500 episodes during the Final 3 week, The Results show that week will be specifically the 500th but both episodes will celebrate 500 eps. What'd be cool is that one of the themes for the Top 3 they have each member of the top 3 perform with a former contestant (It'll probably depend on who will be in the final 3 but I bet it will be Adam Lambert, and two more recognizable contestants that have the time like J-Hud, Chris Daugherty, Carrie Underwood

I think they'll celebrate it both nights, The Results show that week will be 1 Hr, rest of the final stages results will be 30 minutes.

This should be starting soon I think, it's usually late Jan/early Feb iirc? The only thing I don't like is that I often find out before we actually see the results show here, it's can't be helped I know but it spoils it a bit. I try to avoid seeing any spoilers but usually end up knowing somehow

I'm glad J-Lo is back as a judge and that Randy is still involved, I'd love Steven Tyler to return as well.

No it won't, It will be the night after in the US anyway. 30 minutes down from the 1 hour it's usually is.

There's no way Idol will do a One Night Live Show only thing, Mainly because That would always mean a contestant would be practicing the whole week for nothing

(The Show is live on the east coast and it's tape delayed on West coast because at that time it's typically Dinner time on the West coast meaning not everyone would be watching.)

If you like watching bad auditions, Idol is not the place.

Right now, American Idol is proving that unless you have a gimmick like chairs that have buttons and are big and red, having no Bad Auditions is a bad idea.

Well the episode that I saw last night was pretty good, a few great singers at first glance.

They're pimping a gal by showing her audition twice now. Marianne Sellers. She looks like a black Miley Cyrus.

There is Thursday Auditions shows this year, I just forgot they still had those last week and Haven't gotten around to see it.
