RI twist honestly sucks so bad. A simple tribe swap would be vastly preferable in both seasons; it would probably have prevented the pagonging in RI and it feels like the same might happen this season.

South Pacific is a middle-tier season. I think what helps it is that it is just perfectly superior to RI. The cast is pretty good, and it did have memorable moments. The gameplay was somewhat lacklustre though.

South Pacific:
Edna
Sophie
Dawn
Ozzy
Brandon
Coach
Stacey
Whitney
Semhar
Albert
Christine
Mikayla
Elyse
Rick
Papa Bear
Cochran
Jim
Keith

I actually really liked Ozzy and Coach this time; each of their best appearances yet. One thing I'll say about this cast is that I struggled to find a strong favourite. Don't think any of these players would make my Top 20.

I decided to watch Jeff Probst's cast assessment for S24 (I've never known anything about a new player cast beforehand in the past) and it seems like quite a good cast? Apparently this is a season with v unpleasant behaviour tho

It's... not a very good cast (there are conspiracy theorists out there who believe that they purposely cast the worst newbies possible in order to get away with having so many returning player seasons afterwards. I'm not one of them), sorry to shatter that image so quickly. But that's not a comment on the season itself, so y'know, have fun!

There are a few good characters! But it probably is one of the nastiest seasons.

Lots of times; she even flew to Samoa as an alternate for Heroes vs. Villains

iirc she was even considered for this current season at one point, so I wouldn't rule out seeing her again (especially if Second Chance II happens soon as Jeff so dearly wants)
