Don;t psitively bet on a wnner - seems up in the air - I have Vinne @ 4/1, Dane @ 55/1 as outside cover but think I'll lmight lose. Tempted to lay heavily on Jonas as the price has come in but no chavce

Why does Jonas have no chance?

Personally, I'm laying Dane now @2.20. Just like I layed Vinnie @1.80

Great lays!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!! - I was advising people to lay Jonas @ 10 when he was topping the polls on websites dominated by kiddies earlier this week.

Sure enough he was trading at 20 earlier this morning on betfair. An easy trading margin was there to be had this week!!!!!

Trading aside, I believe Jonas is not a legitimate 'back to keep' because:-

1. He is a very timid character and not a big personality in himself.

2. He is a practical unkown to the vast majority of UK voters (even if they have been subjected to Basshunter on the radio in the past).

3. Kiddie fanatacism on BB fansites seldom translates into actual votes.

4. Tabloid frenzy is focussing on Alex and Vinnie.

But I could be wrong - but I made my money off him with the lay then back this week so who cares!!!

By the way, will one be able to bet on Betfair between the voting rounds in the finals? I assume there will be voting rounds, with 2 evicted each time?

Evictions on Friday format is not exactly known - could be 4th and 5th place together, then 3rd, then 2nd/winner.

Betfair will always suspend when voting suspends - also bear in mind that the 'live' show is not 'live' but time-delayed transmission. For example on Wednesday, Nicola was evicted about 9.55pm real time, but the 'live' show was not transmitted until 10.55pm. We knew shew had been evicted by website reports from the audience.

Because of this, the market remained suspended from the time voting suspended at 9.20pm.

For the finals night, the voting lines due usually open between the 3rd eviction been shown on TV and the announcement of the winner. This has always allowed a brief window for trading in the past

Sorry if this sounds complicated, but there is no simple answer to your question.

At least the gambling markets got the top 5 ordering exactly correct this time. Must be a first for as long as I have watched the 'to win' market.

Dear Admin

Can you please consider an equivalent sticky thread to this for BB11 please. It keeps gambers' jargon/threads away from the general FM population.

I know there will always be "odds" threads popping up and I did one on finale day I must admit - but in that one I did it for people who do not understand gambling jargon, I try to speak clear english/demistify 'the odds thingy'.

Just a request - it will never stop non-gambling FMs flooding with "Latest Odds" threads anyway if it 'proves' their fave is not about to be evicted
