You think you are better off under Labour? Look how many stealth taxes they introduced over their term in office. Give with one hand and take twice as much back with hidden taxes. |

In 2005 the Institute of Fiscal Studies published a report stating that since Labour were elected and up until 2005 they had introduced 157 stealth taxes. An example of a Stealth Tax would be: when VAT was temporarily reduced to 15%, Chancellor Darling added 2% duty to fuel to offset the reduction in tax collected from motorists. Now that VAT has been increased to 17.5% again, this hidden tax has not been removed - hence recent rises in fuel costs at your local pump. The term stealth tax has really only been used since Labour were elected in 97. So you prefer to being blatantly lied to and robbed blind by Labour? |

Secretly falling apart

It is totally about Wealth, Tories are in it to keep the rich rich and the poor poor.
It makes no sense for Clegg to side with Cons, people who voted Lib voted for leftist policies not right wing!

Quite high for an election within the next 18 months, better than 50/50
For an election in the next 2-3 months a little less likely probably about 10- 20% chance, depends on how much Cameron/Clegg are willing to compromise the ideals of their respective parties. Or how much any of the leaders are prepared to go back to the electorate and blame the other leaders for having another election. |
