Actually, now that i think about it, when I said I wasn't a fan of comedies, I think I meant I'm not a fan of typical American "rom coms".. You know the kind I mean? Usually starring Mattew McConaughey, Jennifer Aniston, J-Lo etc etc. Can't think of any titles off the top of my head tight now, but you know what I mean... So I suppose I do like comedy just as long as it's my type of comedy...

Withnail is brilliant, Richard E Grant needs an oscar and every other award for that!

You know, we could just have a thread with scenes from it!

Has anyone here tried to do the Withnail and I drinking game while watching it? Doubt you could get through the first half hour without collapsing.

Haha.. No I have never tried the drinking game! I'm not exactly a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, but I think I'd die!

God that's sad! *coughs*....

(I wail like a bairn every time too... don't even get me started on Bambi!)

Any yes Harry.. I loved the opening scenes of that film too! I remember seeing it in the cinema and it was fantastic on the bigger screen!

I remember the trailer for The Lion King on the big screen and it was just the opening scene, if I can recall correctly. Anyway, I got goosepimples watching it and knew that I had to see the whole thing.

God, yes it is a goosepimple inducing film! The soundtrack even though it's the wigged one, is fantastic too!
