Him knowing and telling Josie that HE has no attraction for her DOESN'T rely on him knowing Josie's feeling.

... so Josie's point of view is what? She flips out over the most nothing situations, tells the gang and they build her up and pat her head saying "oh Josie poor thing, now how big a bitch is (enter name here, usually JJ or Keeva)". Corin laps it up as does Ben. Mario is the only one who sees through it and nominated her saying she went too far.

It doesn't matter where Josie is in the house she is always looking for where JJ is,if she cant see him then she either goes looking or asks anyone and everone where he is and usually adds who's he with, who's he talking to.
John James SEEMS to eend up where she is but that is her manipulating a ''chance'' bumping into her, like in the diary room, she wanted to go home,changed her mond unfortunately again, she came out the diary room, saw JJ not far off, came thotugh the doors and smiled her smile ,he came over and then she flung him I was going home, I aint now though. Definately not JJ doing the following,she plans and manipulates being near to him all the time. He is just being friendly and I dare bet he is turning over and over in his mind how do I get rid of this attention in a positive way because I dont believe he does want to hurt Josie but he has no real or lasting interest in her at all.Other than being friendly and seeing her as a Sister model to him, which if she thought about is a massive compliment really from him.

I do think Josie is horrid, the only genuine one in the house is Corin I think she just gets on with it and has a wee flakey now and again but I think Josie and Caoimhe were on a par - so I will agree to say BOTH are horrid - C is not way an angel or is Josie!

He never believed she fancied him thats the whole point, I said earlier he was in denial in that becasue he had never heard ot from her only other people who he likely thought were stirring things, she only in the last few days has really made it clear but then she still skirts around it because she is dreading hearing his final NO on the matter,she has used evryone almost to have him made known as to her feelings but she skirts round them. His head must be going round in circles. She has been very clever,he has always said he saw her as a friend ,a sister, she has acted like they were an item, near warning other women to keep off because she liked him,He has also always said he wants no relationships with anyone in the house at all, so what can she NOT understand about that.Or is she totally stupid as well as being obsessed with someone.

No seriously I do think John James is not at fault at all on this one, she is so manipulative she has near made him think he can rely on her but she has an ulterior motive to get him all to herself,the other thing she does is ensure other housemates are talking all the time about it so he gets little escape from the subject, I guess in a hope to break him down and get him to do anything for a more quiet life in there with HER support and her being able to parade him as her 'man'. Josie has gone down o=in lots of peoples estimations of her from the early weeks and it is clear why, no man likes this suffocating obsessive treatment and JJ is likely just working out slowly how to tolerate it rather than go full out and really insult her.If he can keep his cool and he will come out the far better eprson, if he blows his top at her then she will destroy him completely in the house and she is trying and slowly building up a support network for her from the other housemates with her nonsense and chats to them about it.She is someone to run a mile from and not to be trusted one bit.I hope as ange7 says JJ sees sense and soon for his own minds sake.

Whether or not JJ was fully aware of Josie's feelings is not really the issue! It may be a contributing factor - because if he was, he should have had anough sense not to do anything to encourage her - although I am inclined to think he, like a lot of men, is not very tuned in to this sort of emotional thing - the old women are from venus and men from mars condition!

When push comes to shove - Josie is a grown woman who is responsible for her own behaviour! She knows what she wants - and will walk over anyone to get it!
