Yeah, I was really disappointed with The Shining, I had kind of built it up in my mind as being one of the best films ever and was excited about seeing it! Another one which really disappointed me (but also had fantastic performances) was "The Deer Hunter"! .. Never in my life have I seen such a slow bloody film!

Mel Brooks and Pryor wrote it together. Such a shame they wouldn't allow him star in it.
