I think she is talented, but it's apparent to me that she just doesn't put the necessary work in and that she isn't taking it seriously enough. Some "passion".

It's really getting tiresome now with judges calling Katie a fighter,she gave up last night just as she did in the judges houses and didn't complete the song.It's not Katie being a fighter that keeps her there ,it's the judges.

It's sad really as Katie has been a mess for a few weeks now and I really don't think they are doing her any favours keeping her there.I know Simon has invested alot in her financially to get her out of sony record deal but the poor girl looks as if she is on the verge of a breakdown.
Ah well it has everyone talking about X-factor this morn so Simon will be happy.

Ah clever Simon - he made a comment about the negative press and said it was better to have that negativity than no press at all. If you look at it that way the right decision was made for the show because Katie keeps it high profile with her spoilt drama queen antics - carefully mentored by the queen of drama Cheryl - just a shame that his message to us is that our votes are pointless.

She clearly does - stage presence, image and personality. All three traits she definitely has. Her vocal talent isn't the strongest, but it's certainly not awful. So looks like she does have the 'X Factor' after all, hence why she's still there
